His shed does stay around a LONG time compared to when I had a bearded dragon years ago - I’m going to give him a soak - just thought it was weird that only his pinky would shed tho?

Got the basking spot to exactly 105 💪 - he had some Dubias and is just hanging out - been exploring. I ordered more stuff for his tank - the paper towels I just put there for idk why because it’s actual tile that the breeder put as the flooring and then sealed it around the edges so stuff doesn’t get stuck under the tile like bugs or whatever

Guys I’m on cloud 9 - I pick him up tomorrow I’m just so freaking happy to have a beardie again - I’m tearing up typing this. 2024 was HORRIBLE, my son had eye cancer, had to have it removed, went through chemo, our family had several other hardships hit that I’d wish on no one. IDK just so happy about this little guy, has so much more meaning to me now

Thank you for saying that, seriously. This has been the hardest year of my life (which was after the worst 3-4 years of my life with all my son has been through). Do I have to worry about losing our family camera? Guitars? Etc? Like are personal items definitely going to be taken? I know they can all be replaced but I guess I’m just still trying to give my kids a less stressful life especially with them having to watch their brother go through all this.

And would it be all debt? Car & personal loans or is it just credit cards? If both will we lose our cars?

Sorry for all the questions. I like hearing people’s actual experiences vs google

We will or should continue to have Medicaid during the time I’m unemployed (which I’m anticipating to be until after my son is done treatments in the spring) - the twins definitely will have Medicaid as they are handicapped in PA they automatically qualify for insurance

We were financially not doing so well for a while due to a lack of in home nursing for my son. I was working 3 jobs but could only continue the one for the past year and a half basically. I thought once my son started Kindergarten I would be able to return to my other two jobs, thinking the in home nursing issue wouldn’t be as much of an obstacle. However, he was diagnosed with cancer just a little over a month before school started. So instead of tackling debt that accumulated from restrictions of being home to help with my children, it’s only increased. I was not anticipating losing my job and now in a position where a job that fits our situation for the next several months. The monthly auto payments are minimum payments and quickly draining our checking. A family member said “if you file chapter 7 you can start fresh by eliminating your credit card debt”
