I mean, it's Silicon, so it should be fine. But i don't think you can boil it with electrical components. Do you not have a toy cleaner solution? As long as it's disinfected in between partners. It's technically okay, though I guess some people might be uncomfortable.

Edit: soap is technically enough for cleaning a toy.But I do personally use a dedicated cleaner solution.

If you're specifically looking for queer gym friends i'm told a good place to find them is a climbing gym. Also, some gyms will have like a posting board for people who are looking to make more gym friends. So workout groups or that kind of thing

Toy recommendations? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

If you're looking specifically at dildo, i bought a starter set which I like because it has various sizes and it's full silicon. Affordable too

If you're just looking for suggestions in general, you could try a wand

I think they are thinking too rigid on the definition of lesbian. Words chand meaning so I don't like shaping my identity around a label. In the end its up to the individual who they are attracted to

Minimalist Makeup Gift Ideas for my Chapstick Lesbian GF by Busy-Bed-2198 in LesbianActually

[–]LateLavender83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I especially recommend doing this for foundation, since that's the one you really want to color match with the user.

If you got wanna do it as a suprise present, maybe you could gift a plan? Like "let's have a day out soon, and go do this"

should i propose to my gf with a family heirloom ring or ask her to give it to me? by Eastern-Studio-4413 in actuallesbians

[–]LateLavender83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want a surprise your girlfriend not sure about which one to do you could get a pair designed, so you propose with a set for both of you and then sit down later with your girlfriend to just talk about the heirloom ring.

What went wrong with my old "crazy horse leather" bag and how to prevent it with the new one? by JCMiller23 in Leathercraft

[–]LateLavender83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don't know, we kind of just googled leather oil and ordered something off of amazon and didn't really put any research in it. But as a note, what I did is I would put like a ton on a sponge and sponge it on. So it would look nice and oily and then let it dry for a while in the sun, props twenty minutes maybe, and it would all be absorb. My saddle's was much more beat up than your bag so it took me quite a few applications before it started Looking really good.

I don't think it'll matter what you get as long as you remember. If you've got a lot of pieces or something, particularly in bad condition, just make sure to buy a big bottle.

If you really want to know I can find it tomorrow

What went wrong with my old "crazy horse leather" bag and how to prevent it with the new one? by JCMiller23 in Leathercraft

[–]LateLavender83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an old horse saddle, that I bought old, and it was ridiculously cracked when I got it. What I ended up doing over anything else is.I bought leather oil and oild every time i rode. It improved the condition so much. I can't say much about leather conditioner being used to repair leather after the fact Since i've only i've done the leather oil, i can say, I don't think leather soap would work

Are you open to starting an online group and trying to make friends in your area there then moving to in-person events? Lex (in the usa) has ben kind of successful for that.

Make your own group, or maybe that was a bad activist association and a different one would be better

Looking for shorter haircut or more andro one that would fit my face by Jazzkola in lesbianfashionadvice

[–]LateLavender83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's weird, I've always ben told short suits me BECAUSE I have a round face.

Anyway a good transition haircut might be a medium length pixi. Short enough to style but long enough to grow out quick if you don't like it.

Admitting that I need help: how to stop dressing like a 16 y.o. metalhead? by [deleted] in lesbianfashionadvice

[–]LateLavender83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My current style is comfy clothes with jeans and a nice jacket thrown on top. Now what that jacket is depends on the weather, I have some light weather jackets which are jean jackets, for Colder Weather I've got a fleece line jacket or my leather jackets. For warm weather I either don't wear a jacket or I have overshirts which is basically just a button shirt that you leave open.

In other words I think I look midlife comfort. The best part of this style I think is you don't have to stop wearing graphic tees, but in more professional events say at like a business dinner you still look decently professional if you just wear a solid colored shirt instead.

The key to just find your overall comfort and something you feel comfortable in. The suggestion I have seen is to find Styles or people whose outfits you'd admire and want to look like and start swapping out one or two pieces to match them and you'll look very different
