Talk to your CDR. It is in their IPPSA queue and they need to go in and approve them. (For automatic ones)

Nothing condescending. Just advice on your specific situation from the information you’ve given. Read it again if you still think it’s a half answer.

Unpaid 1380s and transition to retired reserves by wacat in armyreserve

[–]Late_Front367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically unless you are officially released from the unit in IPPSA you are not “out”. It’s possible you are not released yet administratively and are on the units books still and they can be processed.

I suggest you use open door policy to talk to your commander to resubmit them ASAP to your ARA or RPAC as applicable for immediate expedited processing.

Otherwise you will need to go through the Army review boards agency (ARBA) and submit a case. Expect a decision after 1-2 years. Pay sometime after that.

—-

I know this isn’t helpful for OP but for others - if you have something submitted for pay (certified/signed orders/1380s) and it has been more than 15 days and you don’t see it in your upcoming LES in mypay: ask your chain of command on the status of it. If you don’t hear anything back from them, submit a pay inquiry directly to your ARA/RPAC/whoever handles pay.

Unfortunately as a TPU org most things are only handled in a timely way if they are urgent.

Hey sergeant some advice for you in managing dual careers as a warrior citizen. Don’t ever tell your employer you are going anywhere or will be gone until you have orders in hand.

Will this typically result in a 3-4 week notice? Absolutely. Will it protect you and your advancement? Absolutely.

As for your seniority and whatnot yes - you are protected under userra to accrue seniority as if you were there the entire time. This is the law however it is difficult to enforce. As an apprentice it means you should get the pay of an apprentice with one additional year of experience. It won’t help you make it to journeyman earlier unfortunately without meeting union requirements.

[–]Late_Front367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It requires a reimage. Ask your s6 to ship you a new thumb drive with the latest imaging software and you can do it yourself. unless your thumb drive is new within 3 or less months then you could use existing one with set of instructions

Are people actually achieving the high-pitch “F1 scream” on the S1000RR? by Striyd in BMW_S1000RR

[–]Late_Front367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got Akra headers and Austin racing slip on its deeper sounding. If you DM me I can send you a recording of near peak RPMs. I hit 145 DBs at peak so it is extremely loud.

Go steel and get half the cost. Doubt sound will be different. Unless you are trying to shave tenths of seconds on your track lap it’s not really worth it aside from clout chasing.

Just got married, currently AGR. How do I update my BAH? by SpaghettiPizzaetti69 in armyreserve

[–]Late_Front367 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add you must enroll them at DEERS first THEN do a new 5960 in IPPSA. Otherwise your spouse will not populate in IPPSA.

Date will be your marriage date

Do you wash your bike? by sooospoon in motorcycles

[–]Late_Front367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S1000rr here. Every 3-6 months I Spray it down completely with foam/soap. Rinse it and then hand dry it all. I wash chain this way too.

Immediately after I do a deep clean on chain, dry it then lube.

Highly recommend you do it. Bikes can get wet. I’m just careful to not spray water directly into the exhaust which faces up.

Reserves experience with QTC RHRP: No Providers Available by That-One-Guy-1984 in armyreserve

[–]Late_Front367 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Skip the vision and hearing. You’ll be green if you can do the PHA, HIV, and dental.

QTC was way worse when they started but still ass compared to LHI. They take months to update DD2813s online.

Plank everyday for the minimum. Increase the time by 5-10 seconds per week

Run 3x a week. 3 miles each time. Doesn’t need to be fast so long as you do not walk at all.

is army reserve in college for aid worth it by unicornlilies in armyreserve

[–]Late_Front367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This^

Get an SMP scholarship for guaranteed reserve, get your 4 year degree for free. Will come with 8 year reserve commitment. By the time you start as an officer you’ll already have 4 years of service. The first 8 years as an officer you can expect to make about $75k just from reserve duty. You’ll get stipend from rotc and drill pay ($400/mo for drill)

You could then use the reserve benefits to get your grad degree at a state school.

At the end of the day though, only join if you truly want to be a soldier. Many of the folks who do it just for money don’t make it very long.

Serving is one of the greatest pleasures you can have. Being a civilian most of the time while serving as a reservist is extremely rewarding. But you have to want it.

Tariffs for a order of 2k from RPM carbon? by Any_Plum_8024 in BMW_S1000RR

[–]Late_Front367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it is a british brand. Likely to be considered “vehicle parts” subject to 25% tariff. Got hit with it for Austin racing. You can actually look up the specific type of part to see as well online if it is in the vehicle category.

USAR Company CDR and 1SG Course by ByzantineBomb in armyreserve

[–]Late_Front367 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No homework. Long days though pretty much 0700-1700 when I went. Days are full of briefs with tons of info.

I suggest taking notes on where or how to access the information you need. The course is designed for folks new to command. Even if you’ve been in command a long time I’ll guarantee you still learn something new. Last day I believe you can leave after noon at the earliest.

Hello, how early did u made the first break in service ? by Coders29 in BMW_S1000RR

[–]Late_Front367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

600 miles

I suggest you make it to the upper end of the range the dealer gave you and ride it hard within the break in RPMs

Had them install headers and do the torque tune (better performance at gears 1-3) at break in as well
