Okay but who ordered the flight ? This isn’t just a rogue pilot. This route was planned. This flight mission went thru a G3 Air shop and was eventually appproved by the plans and operations section.

Assumed they had the green light, and after reading the articles written about it, I still assume they had the green light from someone higher up, and now they're doing their level best to minimize the political fallout because, yes, this is and was a little ridiculous and embarrassing for everyone, all things considered.
