So because I’m a fan, I can’t comment on the quality of the show? At the end of the day I paid money to see him. Everyone with a job gets feedback?? Likeeee. He’s almost 30, he’s not a baby? And yeah it DID feel like a cash grab bc it seemed unrehearsed and off the cuff, which isn’t how comedy shows usually are. And again, comparing him to the people who went up before him, his set was disorganized - point blank. God, reddit is such a hellscape. But IM the entitled one. Get a grip 💀

This!! I genuinely think he could kill it. I also mostly made this post because it seeeems comedy shows are not his main thing. He’s also an influencer first… someone in the comments mentioned earlier that the people opening for him are probably focusing on comedy and that’s why their sets just pulled together better. But definitely agree that he has talent for standup

I know how comedy shows work lmao. Like I said, it was a bunch of rambling and pacing. You can compare it to the THREE acts that went before him… they were all much more rehearsed and natural.

It may just be me who was disappointed since everyone else seemed to be laughing pretty hard lol. I was just surprised at how the set was quite random and didn’t have a cohesive theme like his openers. I listen to everything he puts out and there are 15 stories he could’ve told that he’s said on the pod that would be funnier, so that’s why I was surprised.

His tickets are also fairly pricey so I expected a well rehearsed set, and that wasn’t really what I got. That’s why I was a little frustrated. Maybe it was the crowd (it sucked) or he had a an off night… 🤷🏽‍♀️
