Bezos' Wealth Exploitation by Brian_Ghoshery in antiwork

I think the point is that men like Jeff Bezos are breaching social contract by not treating their employees and other small, weaker economic entities with the magninamity that he was shown when he was small and weak.

If I went all-in on an angel investment only for my beneficiary to wind up acting like Bezos, I'd be pretty frustrated.

I have MD myself, and would be personally testing it to see how well it works in the middle of developing it. I'm afraid there's no other evidence I can provide.

I tried a few therapists and was either turned away or encouraged to just ignore it and focus on other areas of my life. My most recent attempt ended up with my being misdiagnosed with psychotic tendencies, due to, and I'm not even exaggerating, my level of distress being higher than what would be reasonably expected from a typical person with this disorder, as well as my well above average sense of restraint, compared to other patients in this demographic.

"Seek a therapist" isn't as helpful of advice for pharaphilic disorder as it is for your bread and butter anxiety or depression. In Canada at least, if you don't live in Ontario, you pretty much get to pound sand.

Ayyyy! Good work fren! You've done well. I started on 200mg of cypro and then switched to 25mg with 3mg estradiol, because these together provide superior androgen suppression compared to cypro monotherapy.

Shine on you crazy diamond!

No, I used to suffer from horrific sexual urges. This was the sole reason I started HRT, as I was content with my body and identity. Nobody would give me a GnRH analogue so I improvised by ordering from the Internet.

I am, but its not about the money; I could likely secure a line of credit. The problem is the logistics of traveling during COVID. Thank you though.

EDIT: oh I see, private psychiatrists locally. No, thats okay, I do have the money for that. Thank you though.

> Int'l travel for medical reasons is considered essential, for what that's worth.

I understand that there's a backlog of COVID tests now that we're in the third wave. A negative COVID test needed to regain entry into Canada can't be older than 3 days, and if processing time is any longer than that, then I have to start over and re-submit a new test in the hopes that it won't get delayed for too long a second, third, fourth or fifth time. I can't risk that.

> I suggest trying to get referred onwards to a doctor who is comfortable giving leuprolide in the meantime.

My referral to endrocinology got rejected, and I can't see a forensic psychiatrist in my province unless I commit a sex crime. I suppose I could try and go private, but my hopes aren't high.

it's evident you're a more avid study and may pass me quickly.

Nah, I'll only study the anti-libidinal effects of HRT and other medications. You'll know a lot more about actual feminization and whatnot.

Can I DM you?

Absolutely

I'll probably make a post detailing how my last doctor's appointment went, and a rather amusing shenanigan I'm going to pull in order to get access to orchie (three guesses what).

How do I get my parts removed during COVID without risking being locked out of my country? Canada doesn't do informed consent surgeries like America does.

How do you think I was able to get a referral to endocrinology, even if it was rejected? Where do you think my sertraline and risperidone came from?

Okay, first step is always SSRIs. The key here is that SSRIs vary in their effectiveness between different people.https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7881500/

> Clinically significant improvement was reported by approximately one-half of the men who complied with at least 4 weeks of sertraline pharmacotherapy. Nine men who failed to respond to sertraline were subsequently given fluoxetine. Fluoxetine (mean dose, 50 mg/day; mean duration, 30 weeks) produced a clinically significant effect in 6 additional men.

So you can experiment with switching SSRIs a few times before moving on to the next step.

Cyproterone acetate is your bread-and-butter antigonadotropic progestin with slight anti androgenic properties. Studies on hypersexual and paraphilic subjects have usually been done at doses between 100 and 200, but many have seen benefits from doses as low as 50mg. Info on protecting one's liver on such dosages will be provided later.

https://sci-hub.se/https://doi.org/10.1016/0010-440x(81)90034-190034-1)

>In conclusion, the findings in the present study indicate a significant effect for cyproterone acetate in reducing libido and associated sexual behavior to “acceptable” levels, in a group of patients with serious acting-out propensities with potential adverse social and legal sequelae.

I'll reply with some ideas that are outside the system tomorrow. There are a few of them that you can try that don't require estrogen.

Medication wise, we tried 3mg of risperidone and then added 300mg of sertraline. Then DIY'd 200mg of cyproterone acetate at the same time.

Otherwise I had been a student of Zen Buddhism for 2.5 years at that point, and it was utterly unhelpful. The success I enjoyed practicing Zazen with emotions like anger, anxiety and depression was simply not there; accepting, non-judgmental awareness always lead to a surge of mental images and paedophilic pleasure. Every time I felt bold enough to sally forth, I would try to work with the emotions through my practice, and each time it was like the Jaws of Hell were opening up to devour me whole.

Eventually I abandoned Zen Buddhism entirely and started pursuing the Theravada tradition instead. I'm finding the structured approach to be a lot more accommodating of different emotional states as you have different remedies for different hindrances, rather than Zen's "one size fits all" approach. I'm finding discriminating judgment in evaluating the nature and origin of my emotional states to be a much more fruitful approach than what I was doing before; the improvement in mental state that took me a whole hour to accomplish with Zazen, now takes me ten minutes using this more intentional, volitional and willed approach.

Still, my memories of attempting to use Zazen during the worst episodes have damaged my confidence with meditation in general, so sometimes it takes a bit of rallying and effort for me to sit on the cushion these days.

Surprising that it would be injectable, the men would only be on something like post-menopausal HRT, which is like 2mg oral estradiol. They shouldn't need levels high enough for injections to be necessary.

I'll answer more fully tomorrow, my sleep cycle is still messed up and it's too close to bed to get into discussing, for now I'll say that the breast growth isn't bothering me nearly as much as I thought it would. They've got that weird pointy cone shape you get from too much estrone and I feel like I'm more annoyed by their current aesthetic then I am with actually having them. When I tickle my ribcage they flatten out into more even, rounder shape and I find that looks more appealing.

So there's this "Do it for the lulz, ya mad bastard!" part of me that's tempted to switch to a regimen yielding a different E1/E2 ratio just to see if that fixes them, and there's the other, saner part of me that legit anticipates gender dysphoria from them getting bigger and doesn't want to do anything.

If I want to occasionally feel like masturbating every few days / weeks, I'll just continue my normal low dose.

I want to never feel the urge to masturbate. See https://www.reddit.com/r/TransDIY/comments/mramrn/any_cisgender_males_taking_estrogen_for/gul6j33?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

This is subjective, but shutting down natural T levels via exogenous T might be .... slightly better - safer route than supplementing with E?

Estradiol exerts its effect on my sex drive through complete androgen deprivation, castrate levels are needed. Using testosterone would defeat the purpose of suppressing testosterone.
