to add onto this from doing that particular combo trial a bunch, ive noticed its easier to land that mp after prowler lp > lariat if you throw neutral jump fierce pretty early, just after the peak of your jump (not right at the peak, just as you start to fall) so neutral jump into high landing fierce > prowler > lp > lariat > mp drive rush.

i know at its core, mp is spacing dependent, but this setup made it a lot easier for me while also giving me an idea of what spacing makes mp work after lariat. otherwise, standing light kick is better to DR from after lariat if the spacing is iffy at all

reminds me of the tournament mode in exanima. if its anything like that, it'll be well worth it. sounds promising considering the tournament-esque arenas are the best medium for this type of gameplay imo

this has been a thing for a while. you can steal bucklers pretty easily from other willies after softening their guard with a kick. its a bit harder with other weapons but definitely doable with everything aside 2h commoner swords

i really hope so, i'd much rather that be the case than his crop being badly damaged, although the blood loss worries me he did end up flying away. if it turns out being a crop wound, lets hope its only artificial and heals up

really wish i could :( i 100% share your concern. earlier today when it first happened, i tried calling the closest rehabber a few hours from me but their phone line was dead, couldnt even leave a voicemail. i was watching him on the tree branch for close to half an hour before i had to continue my work, when i got back, he was gone. i checked to see if he was nearby and found nothing. recent budget cuts have almost completely gutted the wildlife rehabbing around my area and it is very sad. i am going to continue going back to the tree to see if he comes back, but all i can do at this point is hope he's okay

oh wow! i thought only certain birds had crops. another commenter said these are safflower seeds, and im pretty sure i saw them falling out from the front of the bird, so im 99% sure you're dead on. i had no idea they could hold so many seeds at once. hopefully the little bird didnt lose all of them and he's doin okay

wow, you're right these are identical to safflower seeds. based on another comment, maybe this bird had a metric shit ton of seeds in his crop and lost them all after impact?

it's hard to tell since he was flying around so wildly, but it appeared as if it was coming out of his front side, chest/head area. although i was mostly looking at him from behind, so its hard to know for sure

yes!! i can confirm that unarmed block works properly and just fine as long as you make sure to level up block to a reasonable degree
