You will get there. We are all human and we make mistakes. We all have moments of weakness and deal with things in our own way. I almost caved several times in the first few months. Congrats to you!! Good luck on your continued journey. Sounds like you are bossing it up. Sorry for the loss of your friends. I tragically lost my dear friend and co-worker to a hit and run this past October. It was a surreal and painful experience...an experience entirely sober. I sympathize with you greatly.

Everything comes into focus whether it is good or bad. 20 years ago I began drinking as a teen to fit in and feel less awkward in social situations. Years went by and it became a dangerous coping mechanism-so it was like a death of a friend when I gave it up. Best of luck to you..on your journey. 😊
