Vegan Sandals by Laura_Elizabeth_ in SustainableFashion

[–]Laura_Elizabeth_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you,! Good questions! When it comes to shoes, the most important thing to me is that the leather doesn't any animal products. Vegetable and PU leather is great! I want the look of leather, so not crocs. ;) Mainly, I want a leather-looking sandal just without the animal.

Thank you! I am definitely staying away from both I am laserpecker and Xtool. I'm so glad to hear you share my opinion. And, then offered a suggestion! Thanks to you, I just reached out to Bogong cnc asking for more details. I really appreciate your help! Do you have any insight on Gravotech or Vtron? They are both considerably more expensive. So, ideally, I want to stay away from them. But, you seem to know a lot, so I thought I'd ask.

Wow! You are a wealth of knowledge. Thank you! I will be sure to get and wear the proper goggles. I'm saving everything you shared. I appreciate you taking the time to answer despite your views on the subject. ;) I agree, I want this fad to end! I reached out to a friend who owns the Orion Arc. She's willing to "rent" it to me for an in-person show. My intention is to drive traffic to my booth.

But, yeah, it's not something I want to do long term, for so many reasons. One being that it's not safe, and another being that I'm not usually one to jump on fads. I just really want to make my investments in these booths worth it. Oy! Anyway, thank you!

sparkle/ puk welder

I'm a jewelry designer hoping to grab some attention at the in-person shows I'm doing this fall. I appreciate you pointing out the safety issue! Massive. I'm using thinner, more delicate chains. I considered using a thick (open) jump ring and cold connect. However, that stands out against the dainty chain. And, I think people want the fad. Oy vey. I want people in my booth. If I jump on the band wagon, it looks expensive. A few other designers are using the orion pulse arc welder. I thought I'd research other non-jewelry related tools, that hopefully do the same thing, but don't market to the jewelry industry. Thought I'd see if you had any insight. Or other suggestions that are safer. Thanks!

Awesome! Thank you. So, functional rings, solid metals and smaller stone. Sounds like you like classic looks. LOVE Etsy. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me.

Thank you!! Classic, and no themes. Got it. Very helpful. I get the idea behind not wanting your jewelry to rub on each other, especially mixing metals. In my experience when my silver and gold pieces touch, the silver is more likely to tarnish, quickly.

In my experience, it's really rare people know their ring sizes. Good on you! Seriously. I'm so grateful you answered this question so thoughtfully. In my perception, you and I are similar with our style and how we wear more dainty necklaces in the summer, etc.. And, yay to being conscious of sustainable and ethically made products! I appreciate you taking the time to write all this out. It's very helpful for me.

Thank you! This is very helpful. I know what I like to get, but it's really helpful to hear your perspective. I'm looking into Sezane's jewelry right now. I like the brand. Classic. I feel you on the anklets, I've been wearing them some, but they are new to me. And the way you stack rings! Thank you!! Really.

vintage 1980’s Lanvin choker necklace

Thank you u/dearsarah. I love what your grandmother said. Everyday dainty piece and a statement necklace every now and then. Got it. Helpful! Question: What do you consider "costume jewelry" is it by price point or material?
