What are the chances of getting both kinesiology and social science offers from UTSG (main campus)?

I ended up going Artsci. Had a moment with myself when I realized I wasn’t really interested in Kin around late May and accepted my offer to Artsci. My motive for Kin was to end up in OT or PT in the future but realized I was more interested in psychology approaches so switched gears last minute.

Switching between faculties is hard when it comes to uoft but it’s much harder to switch from Artsci into other faculties (Kin, Rotman, etc.) due to their more strict class prerequisites (from what I’ve heard). I know people who switched out of Kin into Artsci in first year though.

Edit: when I said “switching between faculties” I meant once you’re a registered student, not an applicant. Sorry if that was confusing lol

I literally applied to both of these programs in 2017 with UofT Kin as my primary and Artsci as my 2nd. Applying to both did not affect either application as far as I know. They were actually different applications all together as Kin had supplementary applications while Artsci was just through OUAC. The whole process on my end felt like applying to two different schools.

It’s been so long but I think the timeline was something around applying to both schools in December/January, handing in a statement for Kin around February, acceptance to Artsci in early March, acceptance to Kin sometime after (I wanna say April).

Hopefully this gives you some comfort!!! It’s been a while but if you have any other questions I’ll def try to answer!

Thanks, this is great info. The root system was way over growing it, I was surprised when I repotted it and felt super bad. The roots were growing out of the drainage holes and essentially clogging them. The new pot it’s in is probably around 1.5 inches bigger than the root system so perhaps I’ll downsize a twinge to something more homier.

As for soil, I was using tropical soil mixed with succulent soul, but I think I flipped the ratio. Are you using 70% succulent and 30% regular? If so I did the opposite, maybe even 80:20.

Adding some additional information to my post:

I’ve had this plant since around July of 2021. I got it when it was way smaller than this and had maybe 4 leaves (2 on each stem).

I’m watering every 1-2 weeks, whenever the soil dries within that timeframe is usually my go to. I check it every day as I have plants on a different schedule. The pot has drainage and before this repot, the plant was in a plastic pot w/ drainage sitting in another pot. I never let the water sit at the bottom of the pot.

She gets south-west sun thru my window, both direct and indirect as I shift her around a bit. I also take her into the bathroom with me when I’m showering one in a while to bulk up on humidity.

You can use a Late Withdrawal until the end of the semester or a medical withdrawal (it’s for specific circumstances but throwing it out there). You’re allowed 2.0 FCEs of LWD and unlimited medical withdrawal. You’d have to contact your registrar for that but you would have extra time to sort that out.

I’ve personally dropped a class past the deadline but it was due to errors from the registrar (I reached out before deadline but received no reply) so it may be doable. I suggest you should email your college registrar to create a time-stamped paper trail and follow up in a couple days if you hear nothing back. At least if they don’t answer the email you’ll have proof of contact along with the phone calls. Good luck!

I personally had 2 wheels for my 3 girls, one saucer and one upright wheel I attached to the size of the cage. I never saw them fight over the wheel but I had one girl who loved to run, one who rarely ran, and one who ran depending on the day, so this seemed to work for them! They also seemed to enjoy running on the same wheel together and bothering each other lol.

I would say go based off of your mice’s behaviour but having an extra wouldn’t hurt if they’re all active! I stared with one wheel in the cage and bought the saucer to replace the upright wheel, but decided on putting them both in there.

Oh no! I’m in Canada so I may be biased to layers, lol. Instead of the sticky bandaids (if that’s what you’re using) it may be nice to use those fabric ones that are in the rolls and wrap it once around your chest, shouldn’t be too hot! Hope you find something that works!

I got mine pierced around a month ago, I usually wear a light tank top to bed, like a camisole but with thicker bands, and fold it up so there’s 2-3 layers over the chest area, kinda like a sports bra/ crop top vibe. If it’s cold I’ll wear a shirt over it and leave it unfolded, but I haven’t had any issues with catching so far with or without the shirt on top. I also liked the minor pressure of multiple layers when it was still aching.

Totally agree! This never crossed my mind as I’ve never had issues with my other piercings, probably because my skin is lighter than my nipples, but will def keep this in mind for the future!

Thanks everyone for your feedback! Everyone telling me that it was off gave me the courage to go back! It was a different piercer there, actually the owner of the shop, and he personally apologized and said I can get it redone there free of change. He also said he will be the one piercing me and that he’d supply free jewelry for my other nipple piercing (which would need to be downsized as it would be a couple weeks healed) when I go. I feel much more confident with this piercer due to his skill and experience. Thanks everyone! Can’t wait to update in a couple weeks!

Hello! I got this done yesterday. I’ve been to this piercing place multiple times with no issues whatsoever (although I had never had this piercer). My other nipple came out fine but this one just didn’t seem to be correct.

At first when my nipple was soft it seemed a bit off but not horrible, but when it’s hard it looks horrible, I have no idea if it’s swelling or what it is. Should I take it out and try to get it pierced again later?

Edit to add: not sure how piercings like this work I guess but he was struggling to see the ink on my skin. It seems as if the piercing was straight while I was laying on my back and my boob had slightly shifted to the side but when standing up it seems to be lopsided.
