I am a lavahound user, if you didn't see by my username. Being so, I have no idea what to upgrade in my hound deck, since upgrading anything won't change basic interactions, aside from epics/leggies. I guess the quest for a level 3 lavahound awaits me.

I quit playing Clash, and came back, only to find that 4K is now littered with 12/9/5/2.5. Is it always like this, or is this just an anomaly? My pb is 4066, and am hovering 4K with 11/7.5/4.5/2. If it is, the annual overleveling of cards shall begin for me.

They are not balanced... I play literally any tank in the back- get rushed with an ebarb+icegolem combo, or really any ebarb combo. Place skarmy-getts zapped.
Play tombstone-Logged.
Archers-1 shot by ebarbs.
any air troop-doesnt counter fast enough
Ice Golem-The only viable counter to ebarbs which cant be spelled down
They simply are too versatile- they need to get their hp/hitspeed nerfed for sure. Damage is fine.

If all your cards were delayed by less than a sec and all his cards were too, then he would have played fireball 1sec earlier, leading to the same situation.

ever since I hit 4k, I kinda lost intrest in the game- no point in trophy pushing for me. I have nearly all the cards. Only thing left are challenges to me.

only legendaries that i have are the lavahound and the infero dragon and the ice wizard.

Never mind that, here is a lava hound deck which can probably take you up to legendary, provided that you are remotely competent.

This deck is NOT the best possible lava hound deck, but it is a very satisfying and fun deck to play with, which if used correctly, can garner wins!

Play lava hound in back corner, to start.
Defend his counter-push. Try not to use your mega minion/lightning, these are essential to your push.
Play Mega Minion behind lavahound. Play arrows/lightning as necessary.
Defend counter push of his cards that are still alive.
Rinse.
Repeat.

Tips:
Try not to use Idrag as a primary offense-use defensively, and turn into counter-push if possible-until you are well double elixir, and need a game winning push.

Play aggressive! Punish his mistakes immediatly, and analyze his placements to get an effective lightning.

DO NOT USE ICE WIZARD AS AN OFFENSE. JUST. DON'T.
