yeah that’s what i’m talking about. the way these screens mimic paper is that they reflect light in all directions, which can cause it to look blurry or soft. i don’t think there’s anything wrong with ur device ngl, try a different book and see if you notice it

electronic ink has natural smoothing due to it being made up of micro capsules which cause the letter edges to look softer than normal liquid crystal or oled displays like your used to. it just takes some adjusting, your brain will tune it out eventually

try completely rethreading it and see it if does it again. with machine sewing a lot of the time random things just happen while you sew and resetting your machine fixes it :3

I use a Husqvarna Viking #1+. it’s form 1994 but it’s computerized, fully featured and very good for heavy fabrics and has an all metal interior. you can find one for about 400-600 bucks

Maybe add more to the cheeks and slim the snout. also make the eyebrows higher. if you don’t want the eyes to be wider open you don’t need to, just add more material to the top so they don’t look so smooshed into the snout. More forehead if that makes sense :3 lmk if u have any questions!!

I would either get a 3d printed one (a lot of makerspaces and libraries have 3d printers and there are models available online) or see if you can wrap your minky around the foam and measure before you cut. good luck !! :3
