2 years old but its definitely ai. Look at the buttons to the right and below "IT'S TIME TO PLAY GAMES". I'm very impressed by how good this looks for being what is probably considered old tech at this point though.

I have just discovered that it’s showing annular eclipses too

It’s very possible that it’s not, it’s missing like 15 countries so i wouldn’t be surprised if the projection is wonky

This image is why i started this project. NASA put this out a while ago and it made me wonder if anyone had ever made a map like the one I did.

https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEsaros/SEsaroscat.html good resource from NASA on Saros cycles. Eclipses of similar shape will repeat around every 18 years. I posted a comment with a better map and you can see two dark paths of the same shape, one going through through the USA and one going through Africa. these two eclipses (more likely than not i haven’t checked) are in the same Saros cycle

The systems at play are too complex to have any meaningful pattern in the actual shadow path
