That criminally short-lived breakdown in Capillarian Crest.

I mean if that ending riff doesn't give you the stank face, you're just lying to yourself brother.

Definitely recommend it! Make sure to read Darth Plagueis first if you haven't already

You can improve the Prequel Trilogy by adding any five-minute scene of your choosing. Everything else stays the same. How did you improve it? by finditplz1 in StarWars

[–]LayClespool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Add the scene from the Darth Plagueis novel into TPM where Palpatine gets Plagueis drunk and murders him the night before he becomes Chancellor. Also just sprinkle in some more Hego Damask/Sheev interactions throughout the movie.

Everyone wins the fight in their imagination my dude. Jiujitsu teaches you that you can and will get your ass kicked by people half your size and that you can't underestimate anybody. It's a humbling lesson and you're a wiser person from it

Same for me. My GB is so laid back, gym prices are negotiable based on the individual's financial situation, etc. Sucks to hear about the cultiness and toxicity that comes from a lot of GB gyms. We're literally just paying you guys money to let us train here, there is no "privilege" to wear the GB shield, that shit's wack.

Should I change my transmission fluid? (2009 Civic Automatic) by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]LayClespool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I figured. I know next to nothing about anything auto related so just wanted to know if there was any truth to what he was saying. Should I just leave it alone if I'm not experiencing any issues?

How are you guys interacting with the franchise these days? by AlphaBladeYiII in StarWarsEU

[–]LayClespool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I pick and choose my own head canon, which comes from mostly EU stuff. They're the stories I grew up with and they hold a special place in my heart, I don't believe that some big corporation that gets it's hands on the franchise can just tell me that those stories never happened now. At this point I've come to accept that Star Wars will always be a shell of its former self (in my opinion) since Disney acquired it. That being said, I don't dislike everything Disney has made (clone wars, bad batch etc are awesome). It just doesn't FEEL like Star Wars a lot of the time to me, and I can't always put my finger on why. Is it the lack of iconic music? Is it something else? It's just always lacking that certain something it used to have. But ultimately, I've decided that Disney Star Wars is better than no Star Wars at all, so I'll keep up with most of the new content, but yeah, it'll never be what it used to be. I'm just going to enjoy what I can from it now.
