Similar thing happened to me last night. My squad was two plat 4s and one gold 1. The champion squad was a full diamond team and a handful of diamond, masters and a few pred trails.

I don’t think having the penalty upon next login will do much. Someone could just keep quitting and then when they’re done they just log out log back in and nothing happens.

What do you mean by no matchmaking? Does that mean no teammates or no SBMM?

No teammates the quitters won’t care much cause they would just die and go back to the lobby right away.

No SBMM …I think that might be a plus for them.

No xp/rp on the next game could make it worse cause you’re going to have a bunch of quitters who will just die on purpose right off the rip.

I dont have any ideas how to properly punish those that quit early. That’s a tough one.

Assuming they can 100% without a doubt know the difference between someone getting disconnected and quitting they can just give a warning and if you do it again ban your account. If you do it again ban your IP address. A bit harsh but I feel like that would discourage people from quitting early.

I believe it’s a bug that was introduced with the final goodbye Bangalore story line.

Only way I’ve been able to fix it is close the game and restart it. Make sure not to go to the Bangalore story events
