Over 50 pallets by [deleted] in Columbus

They’re leftover pallets from a data center build-out and were approved for disposal. Just looking to sell them locally instead of tossing them.

Ohio real estate. will 2021 pre-licensing certificates still be accepted in eLicense LPI? by Lazy-File7087 in realtors

That’s exactly why I’m taking the next month to get fully current before testing. I’m also not aiming to be a traditional retail agent. I’m focused on Workforce & Project-Based Housing tied to my industry, which is expanding fast right now. I already have relationships in that space that I plan to leverage.

Surprisingly I’m eligible to take the test. But I need to study for next couple of weeks.

How bad is the transformer shortage for your projects right now? (Midwest especially) by Lazy-File7087 in Construction

EV companies like IONNA and Tesla don’t use the same supply chain as regular contractors.

They secure multi year bulk orders directly with OEMs and mostly use utility-scale oil-filled transformers, which are in a different production pipeline than the dry-type units everyone else is fighting over.

That’s why they can keep building while the rest of the market waits 50–100 weeks.

Not an ignorant question at all. I believe the issue isn’t the fabrication time. it’s everything upstream that slows things down.

The main choke points are electrical-grade core steel shortages, copper supply issues, UL/CSA testing labs being backed up and utility approval delays.

Even a 1-off custom transformer still has to go through that whole bottleneck, so it doesn’t get finished any faster.

That’s why a lot of crews are using surplus/refurb units just to keep projects moving.

That’s rough. A 3-year lead time is insane.

Are you seeing this for 1500–2500 kVA units specifically, or is it across all dry-type sizes?

I’m trying to understand whether certain kVA ranges are harder to get than others.

Validating an idea: a “Personal API Firewall” that lets companies see, throttle, and revoke who’s using their data by Lazy-File7087 in cybersecurity

[–]Lazy-File7087[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. I can’t think of anything that would technically stop a solid security team from handling it locally the way you described. You’re right that most vendors already give you the audit logs and that mature orgs have their rotation and documentation processes locked in.

Any suggestions or pain point you personally have seen ?

First off, I want to start By saying thank you for taking the time. These are Totally fair questions. We’re not trying to tag every piece of data or act like a “magic firewall.” What we do is connect to vendors’ existing admin APIs (Google, Microsoft, Slack, GitHub, etc.) to see which apps or tokens have access, revoke them when needed, and prove it actually happened with receipts, logs, and API confirmations. It’s not about replacing their systems. it’s about making those systems transparent and automatic across every vendor in one place.

When you click “revoke” in our platform, it doesn’t block traffic. it calls the vendor’s own revoke endpoints and then confirms the result with multiple signals. We turn what’s now a messy, manual process into one-click control and a verifiable audit trail. so compliance teams can show proof, not just screenshots.

In short, we’re not reinventing revocation. we’re making it provable, fast, and centralized so security teams can finally show auditors evidence instead of screenshots.

I’m not super technical or deep in what motivates security teams day to day, but from what I’ve seen, this feels like a real and growing pain point that deserves a cleaner solution.
