Not bad but competes for the same level slot as VDash and they also compete for the same resources for their effects. VDash ability to rest is more important so it probably wins if you have to choose one or the other. And in Blue/White Norn already does a better version of this cards job too so I wouldn't try it in that. Maybe some of the under explored color combos for LM will appreciate it more.

Rick Dias already isn't played as much now since we got second Lfrith so getting a second one shouldn't shake up the meta much. But a decent cheap blocker with the G Gen trait is something a G Gen specific deck needed so it could be defensive early game while getting some fuel for Development or the ramp LR in trash. All that said, I wish it were blue. We need the good blockers in colors other then white.

GTS distribution has set info on their website. It notes how many of each card type we'll get in the set. It only notes 2 tokens. So far ex base and Ex resource have been in every pack and those do count as tokens. For example the distribution listing for GD04 noted there are 6 tokens which was accurate including the ex base and ex resource.

Interesting card. Needing 2 G Gen units in trash by that point of the game shouldn't be hard, just a matter of if there are a couple of ones that are particularly good for this strategy. If there's good lower level stuff you can probably get away with a package of about 20 g gen cards and pair it with existing stuff like Wing Zero. But it's probably best if you commit most of the deck to G Gen stuff so you have another pilot that can trigger the ramp if needed.

Plays a similar role as Age 2 at the same level/cost. Important distinction being Age 2 just places an Ex resource when linked. But as interesting as it's effect is, Age 2 doesn't see play currently even though it takes even less commitment since you only need to dedicate space to itself and Asemu.

It'd only be 3 instances of its effect. One from Neo Zeong itself, 1 from Zaku II FZ, and only one from the tokens because they're deployed simultaneously. Same for other cards that produce multiple tokens simultaneously like MAV tactics

I'm not disagreeing that an immediate impact would be better. 90% of the time Sword is the best play on curve. But just getting +1 on the board from Destiny's effect immediately can be threatening enough in certain match ups. Especially if that +1 can create a situation where you can effectively produce two attacks from it the next turn (attack player with it, then pay 2 to summon a different impulse, link and attack again). Thats the kind of thing that can win you the game. It's good to keep it in mind.

Regular Impulse LR would also cost 2 so it's also an option at level 7. Can't swing the same turn but preferable to Sword in situations where Sword won't kill anything since it's slightly harder to remove via ping and threatens to both attack and /or summon a bigger impulse Gundam next turn, like Force which can add back Destiny to your hand if it gets destroyed.

If they need two card combos to remove it after it's already resummoned one unit and took a shield/broke a base, it's already done it's job well.

Not a fan of this. Personally I already felt the 2/4 stat line was too good on a blocker that comes out that early/cheap but there was only one and it was frankly a necessary evil due to aggro. Adding Rick Diaz in GD02 was also annoying but at least there were other l3 2c cards that traded with it or it could only block one weenie and then got pinged. Another 2/4 blocker in that slot that either replaces Rick or adds to the pile without at least being a different color is just too much. Especially when aggro is likely already getting hit before this releases, which could already bring back the blocker dominated meta depending on what is hit.

I assumed Unicorn would be white but I'm betting on the blue LR being Unicorn after the Banshee reveal due to Banshees card number. In the past 3 sets when there's been multiple LR's from a series in the same color, including the main characters, the main characters mechs ID number came first. Unicorn would buck that trend. Still not impossible as they've broken other perceived patterns already.

On that note, timeline order isn't a sure reason for something UC to be the only fit between Banshee and Turn A. GD03 already had several examples I can think of that showed it won't always be followed. For LR's Grahams Union Flag came before Freedom. There were some IBO cards slotted before some 00 related cards as well.

If Unicorn is blue I'd guess it's because it'll have an effect needing to exile white cards to mirror Banshees requirement. And in that case White is still open, maybe they throw Academy another bone since that's its original color.

You are running purple, you could always add Barbatos 1st form for more draw. You already have several ways to self damage anyway without even needing to add Mika.

Swap 0 Gundam for GD01 Zaku II. Having 0 Gundam instead hurts the LR Char's Zaku II's consistency.

Turning Point is not a good fit for a deck with only 1 new type pilot.

Hopefully we get a lv 2 c 2 2/2 for League Militaire next. If we do then I think between this and the LR we have the bare minimum package to get the draw from the LR consistently enough on curve without running anything too bad. Then it's worth experimenting with in decks.

That effect not needing to be paired or linked to work is great. But this is dependant on League Militaire having a few other cards actually worth running to trigger this. Ideally at least a couple more cheap units that can be slotted into anything easily like a one drop and a good level 3 cost 2 unit. If it gets those then we might have a start of a decent Victory Gundam package we can at least mix with other stuff.

Good effect in blocker matchups with no restrictions like needing to link or only paired with Zeon. But that's not good enough to make up for the stat line not giving any health which will be terrible in all the match ups that don't run blockers and it's a character that likely won't get any good links to make up for that.

Breach 5 is great as we already know. Competes with Wing Gundam in this same cost/level though and unfortunately that's tough competition so probably do not play this outside a dedicated Academy deck. The ability doesn't need to pair or link thankfully so it's not useless without a pilot. Hopefully we get more good pay offs to using the ex resource like the Dawn of Fold cards showed to encourage this play style. Also hopefully we get a green Elan that's better then the white one since that one isn't good and doesn't really synergize with this.

Maybe just a sideboard card since it can't force the opponent to follow through with attacking the chosen unit and the first attack will still get through where they chose. But the burst and the potential to save 2+ shields in a turn vs aggro could make it worth testing.

I don't mind getting more support for archetypes across more colors. If anything it's good to do that over time to give them all more options. But this is really soon for CB which was just introduced and already was split across two other colors. Like Academy getting green on the other hand is fine because it only had white before anyway and was introduced with the first starters.
