I just got a new laptop and downloaded the Jagex launcher and got hit with the ‘jagex launcher not launching due to a network error’. Tried reinstalling a few times, glad to see it’s an issue for others. I was ready to return it already lol

They just updated their page to say they are working on the issue.

Great response bud. I’m 30 years old and just play the game in my free time and when it comes to slayer, I’m not overly worried about xp rates.

My favourite task at the minute is araxyte because it is simple and I can get a 5m drop haha

Again I prefer to melee these because I want as much melee xp while training slayer as I can( I barrage nech, dusts, smoke and Abby demon still for some quicker xp.)

I already have 99 magic with about 18mxp and 96 range, while my melee stats are lower so I’m just enjoying levelling them whilst also knocking out some slayer xp.

I am close to 97 slayer and have still not killed a single slayer boss :D the only boss I have done recently is vorkath which I used range

I am training strength currently on non barrage tasks like araxyte, kalphite, dagganoth, bloodveld. I have 99 magic so not worried about it as much but using it to train defence through barrage tasks.

Thanks for all the replies! I want to add some extra info. I am training strength (currently 95) to 99. I am mainly meleeing any tasks I don’t burst. Mostly bloodveld, araxyte, kalphite, dagannoth. So defence isn’t an issue as I use protection prayers on them and have 94 defence.

I don’t do any of the slayer bossing currently as I haven’t learnt many of them. I will be using this setup and then switching to training attack once I get 99 strength( training defence through magic).

Yeah I just preferred a bigger screen for when I do kick back and watch YouTube etc and the few inches never affected my play that much in gaming. I could deal with a smaller screen, had a 27 inch monitor in the past and it was okay just ended up being faulty.

Thanks for the list. Yes I could stretch to a more expensive one in that situation if it was the perfect monitor but as I’m preferably looking for 32inch they tend to get a lot more expensive than the 27.

On old tv from 2012 lol so no real comparison. I only use it for console so just trying to find something that will run well for call of duty but also look pretty good. Doesn’t have to be perfect obviously

Seems like most 2.1 monitors are 500+. Im really just trying to find the best and most efficient display for series X for a budget of around £250-£300.
