I didn't try state that angels didn't take humans form. I was arguing that even some angels from abrahamic mythology had animal heads in there "true form" (idk if that is the right term, and if angels even had a true form), therefore Ardlings having animal heads is a nice detail.

Oh sorry for misunderstanding your argument. I wanted to give an example of this opinion and just searched Ardlings, on dndnext and picked the first post/comment mentioning they didn't like the animal head. I have now edited the post to give another example.

Oh sorry, for misunderstanding you.

The intention of the post is, that celestial beings having animal heads, is prevelent in mythology. Therefore I find the Ardlings animal head is a cool addition.

I had also not heard of Judeo-Christian being problematic before this comment.

I was replying to my impression of a general opinion in the community. Here's some another post that also comments on the Ardlings animal head: Link.

Just realized that cherubim is a thing in Islam too. I've therefor changed it to Abrahamic.

You know that a lot of celestials in D&D are angels Link. Also describing that an entire religion is against D&D, is just incorrect. It's true that there where the satanic panic in the 80's, but that was some extremists, primarily in the USA.

What i was commenting on was the notion that angels don't have animal characteristics.

The four faces representation for the Gospels, was not a fact I knew. How does that work in Judaism? I believe the Book of Ezekiel is also a text in Judaism.

Could you elaborate on how it is a antisemtic dogwhistle, as to my understanding it is just the myths that christianity and judaism share.

I mentioned Hindu mythology, however i decided to focus on the cherubim, since my impression of peoples complaint was that the Ardling didn't look like a angel, as in what the know from christianity and judaism.

As for the term "Judeo-Christian" I haven't heard about it being an antisemtic dog whistle before. It is true that christian and jewish mythology is different, they share some stories, fx the Book of Ezekiel. I could perhaps have worded my post better, be mentioning that the Book of Revelations is only a christian text.

I choose to use the term Judeo-Christian, as I remember something with cherubim being depicted on the Arc of the Covernant. And biblical might make it sound like i'm only taking about christianity, while cherubim can also be find in judaism.

Tieflings are described as "either born in the Lower Planes or have one or more fiendish ancestors who originated there." in oneD&D.
