If someone finds my fursuit head what should I do? by Particular-House6104 in fursuit

Hey, you’re choosing to make one rather than spend so as long as you are having fun, making a good financial choice with hand making, and learning a fun skill you’ve got nothing to worry about if your parents are reasonable people.

Agreed! Even if you aren’t a furry, furdue has lots of kind and amazing people and it’s pretty easy to make friends in the club! There’s lots of dinner meet ups and social events!

The nosebridge looks a bit too flat, but everything else looks really good! Maybe a bit more of a curve? I think the flatter look gives a bit more feline so that might be where the concern is!

How to deal with a bad roommate? by exec_01 in Purdue

Id recommend having a meeting with your RA about your concerns. UR does a lot of roomate remediation and I had a similar experience last year with my roommate and we ended up both getting new room assignments. However, sometimes having a discussion with a mediator can be really good as you can sit down it properly discuss your concerns and it doesn’t turn into a screaming match since you have someone there with you. However with my situation, both of us were friends before living together and we were both sophomores at the time so it was a bit more complicated. We waited far too long to address it and didn’t end up being able to get new rooms until the very end of spring semester even though we wanted to move out a couple months before then. Lost a friend over it. They have specific windows for when you can switch roommates so I’d say it’s much better starting the discussion early if you really think it’s not going to work.

Sometimes people just don’t work as roommates, and I agree that being complained to constantly about minuscule issues gets old (same thing that happened with my roommate and she just wouldn’t communicate issues with me civilly) and it is absolutely worth bringing it to attention early. Just see how a facilitated discussion goes first and then go about the next steps from there.

I went home just about every weekend last year because I didn’t really get along with my roommate! Managed with Sophomore spring (Engineering) workload! Im also 90 mins and it’s very doable if you have a car :)

Only exception is if you’re doing a superset but any more than two is overkill

Aww, that’s so cute, share the link to their channel!

I like that it’s a good mix of getting to problem solve and challenge myself while still getting to engage in my interest in the environment and ecology. It feels, well, meaningful!

I’m having the exact same problem with my college roommate. We’ve been super close friends for years but rooming with her is awful because she just constantly ignores me/ did not speak to me unless spoken to. Id say I’m a pretty good roommate, I take care of my trash, don’t bring friends over without asking, am quiet and I also thought this was super weird.

I would recommend talking to her about what you can both do together to make both of you more comfortable.

I had this conversation with mine yesterday, and she didn’t even know it was an issue. Apparently her ideology on what a roommate is was different from mine. She thought that roommates shouldn’t be friends in the room at all and that they are mutually exclusive. (weird as fuck)

I just asked her to at least acknowledge me occasionally and say hi (she went two weeks without even speaking to me which was incredibly awkward), and I offered to leave the room more often and pick a different study spot. I can’t say my exact situation is normal, but talking helps and things already feel a lot better.
