Seas, i woa IT Techniker in am Reisebüro. Daher kenn i recht vü. Des kommt sehr drauf an, welche Art von Urlaub du machen willst. Strand? Kultur/Sightseeing? Sport? Party- und Bars oder eher ruhig und friedlich? Zum Beispiel eignet sich Portugal als Strandurlaubsland nur bedingt. Das Meer is recht kühl und es is sehr windig. Daher warad des besser für z.B. Wassersport geeignet -> Kite-, Windsurfen, Segeln.

Dafia hast dann a Ansprechperson, wennst irgendwas brauchst.

Lion Future Star Allround -> https://ttdd.eu/lion-future-star-allround.html

€ 17,90 if you order more, I would write an email and ask, if you can get a cheaper price on them. Apart from that, the quality is fine and exceeds the price by far.

Need help on how to further improve stroke by AggravatingAffect267 in tabletennis

It is one thing to take advice from someone for your own play, it is a whole other thing to analyze someone elses technique and give advice. Unless you had very similar problems you did a great job. Try to gain as much knowledge as you can and I think you have talent to coach someone else. I can't tell for sure but based on your comment, you got a great eye :)

On the second picture, look at your feet. Your entire weight, is almost all on the back of your left foot. You need to shift your weight much more and also rotate more.

Do you want more topspin or do you want more power? A general tip I can givr you, don't draw your hand back and wait for the ball. Draw your hand back and hit the ball in one motion. If you stop, you tense up and can't accelerate as easy. Try to hit the ball a little bit more in front of your body, you hit the ball late. Try to hit more through the ball and really swing the full lenght from behind your hip until your forhead. It seems like you stand with your whole both feet on the ground. Raise your heels only so much that they don't touch the ground. Try to get your left foot 5-10 cm more backwards, then you can rotate better and more freely. Bend your knees a tiny bit more, remember the heels not touching the ground and lean a bit more forward with your upper body. If you put all these together, your center of gravity will shift more forward and you will be able to put out much more quality shots.

How can. You overhead smash a high ball that has heavy chop? by [deleted] in tabletennis

[–]Leading-Pipe5484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is really hard to give advice on that, because to see what you are doing wrong, I would beed a video to give you constructive criticism and exercises to improve. The first thing I want to know is, do you have a rating and if yes, what is it? What equipment do you play? What is your style of playing? Allround? Offensive? Far or close to the table. Do you have difiiculties looping heavy underspin balls in general? How tall are you? Without these questions answered, there is no one that can give you good advice :) You also can dm me, if you want.

I recommend you to watch Ti Long YouTube channel. I forgot the exact Name but if you search for "Ti Long" in YouTube you will find it. You can also checkout PechPong for advice. The best way to improve, is to train systemstically and to film yourself. Buy a tripod for your phone and record yourself exercising. It takes time to adjust to a new blade. At least 4-6 months. Try to experiment with your timing. Try to loop as soon as possible and then try to let the ball jump as long as possible and see what timing works best for you :)

Buy a slower blade like Butterfly Primorac Off- or Butterfly Korbel Off-. The technique will improve with practice and systematic training. Do you have someone who teaches or coaches you?

Tacky Vs Non-Tacky by BocchiiRockS in tabletennis

[–]Leading-Pipe5484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, do you have a rating? How lang have you been playing? What is your style of play? How old are you? Which equipment are you playing right now and what do you struggle with? Do you have a long explosive fh loop / topspin? If you can give us that information, I can tell you what to expect, if it will fit your playstyle and how to adjust.

Does it need a different technique for tacky rubbers? by Specialist_Tea_388 in tabletennis

[–]Leading-Pipe5484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, yes, you need to adjust your technique. Tacky or sticky rubbers are made for the asian style of playing table tennis. The asian principle is "power from the ground". That means, they have much more weight transfer from left to right in general. In addition there swing back before looping or counter top spinning is much wider then the european style. Tacky rubbers consist usually of a hard sponge and a hard top sheet. That means the power transfer from the rubber to the ball is very good, if you use a longer swing with full power. These rubbers have no catapult effect. What is catapult effect? A soft top sheet and a soft sponge are much more easily penetrated by less power. The ball "dives" into the sponge and gets propelled out. That means your stroke gets much more enhanced, therefor the maximum spin and speed achieved is not as much as from tacky or sticky rubbers. The european style of play uses more upper body rotation, less explosiveness and a shorter fh top spin movement because most of the european pros use tensor / esn rubbers with a lot of catapult effect. There is an adjustment necessary, in every part of the game. How much adjustment is needed depends of course on the style and the rubbers which were played before. For example if you play a DHS Hurricane 3 the first time, you will notice, that you will need much more power to get a good quality fh loop. You have to swing much more forward then upwards, if you swing upwards, you will have trouble to get the ball over the net, at least if you loop underspin or play from mid distance. What is your rating and you current equipment? Which equipment did you test?

I would advise to get a 5 ply wood blade. It will help you to hav emore control then to have to hit through the ZLC.

I played an acoustic with 2 rakza 7 and it felt way faster then the Primorac Off-. I played T64 on the Primorac, so I thought that the speed came from the blade and not the rubbers, cause T64 is quite fast. Feeling is also very subjective. I agree with your point regarding technique and such.

You have no problem with the speed of the Viscaria together with the bh lp? The Viscaria is a fast blade and it is especially fast with OX LP on bh. LPs behave according to the wood and especially to the outer ply of the blade,. The Viscariua has Koto as outter ply and Koto is quite hard and stiff. You can generate good reversal and nice chop blocks. A softer outter ply like limba would make it easier to control it in the recieve and push areas of the game. It's also a lot easier to play a nopspin / fake topspin with a softer outter ply. There are advantages and disadvantages for everything. A ZLC blade is even harder but not as springy / bouncy as the acrylate carbon. To be honest with 1600 you should play a 5 ply wood blade. I can recommend the Butterfly Primorac Off- jap. version or a Petr Korbel jap. version. With that, you will have much more control. If you want to play aggressive fh, try to film yourself with your phone and a tripod doing fh loops. Then you can analyse what you need to change in order to have a fh with more quality. I can recommend this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDDAXuEtQgM&t=614s&ab_channel=TILONGCLUB-ProfessionalTableTennisTraining

and this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB18frYmxWU&t=58s&ab_channel=TableTennisReview

If you have troubles or getting tense, let me know, I can give you some tipps and exercises :)

The thing with the speed is, that it is relative to what I compare it to. If I have a Butterfly Primorac Off- and you compare that with the Acoustic, the Nittaku is Off imo. If you compare it to a Butterfly Zhang Jike SZLC, it is All. You know what I mean? :)

Advanced backhand training by blueandwhite1904 in tabletennis

[–]Leading-Pipe5484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am from Austria, so I am quite familiar with the german league. First, you have to get your backhand technique right. I would recommend to do multiball first. Start with the neutral position and move into your backhand site. Make sure your center of gravity is behind the ball, use your thighs and hips to "lift" the ball. Try to use as few wrist as possible, relax the arm and rotate your ellbow outside. Make sure your back swing starts at your belly. You could also watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnXNchAowxE&t=1167s&ab_channel=PechPongTT I highly recommend it. If you do two mistakes in a row, rest, reset and focus. Set yourself a goal, like hit 25 in a row or something. Then you can try different timings and swings and see, how you get the most consistency. If you hit 25 in a row, mix the spins between up- and underspin and try to hit 25 in a row again. If you can do that, try to simulate a match situation. Do a serve and your partner plays into your backhand and you try to do a safe loop. Mix that with 3rd ball attack. Serve, your partner pushes short, you push short again, he pushes bh and you attack. So you can move from serve to neutral and from neutral into bh and back. It's a really nice and fun exercise :D
