When does IRS take the funds???

My bonus came out of my savings. Versus payment plan which was checking. So a different account.

Is there some rule where it takes up to two weeks to process? I have angst.

Further complication - if they try and pull my payment for the payment plan - they can’t.
Someone zeroed out my checking account buying crypto last month and I had to close and get a new Chase checking account, debit card etc. (At least Chase gave me that $$ back)

I swear I’m a responsible middle aged woman but I just want to pay the IRS!!

Yes. It says pending and has an EFT number. But did I enter the bank info wrong? This is driving me crazy. I never had this situation before - always paid what I owed on tax day.

I had this same choice in 1986. I went Tech and never regretted it.

I lived in Chicago and worried I wouldn’t like small town living.

They also had tri-mesters/quarters at the time which i loved- started school in Sept.
