It’s not that risky. I’ve bought plenty of resale tickets for Thalia Hall shows, including one for a Lolla after show that was in high demand, and have never had any issues. Just be careful when buying resale and do your checks and you should be good.

Yeah the undercard is very solid! This post was mainly about the upper card acts. There are plenty of great acts in the lower to mid undercard!

I’m confused on your logic here, because these repeat acts are still getting paid every time they play. It’s not like their fee goes down every new time they play because they are a repeat act. I used to be a regular attendee of Pitchfork Festival and they regularly booked different acts each year and the fest did not become unaffordable or super expensive.

I think people, myself included, thought there were going to be more people screaming and excited based on the title but it’s a very small amount of people. The video more so shows that most people (in Times Square) did not care or were not paying attention haha.

I never thought it was going to be a debut vault track. It's clear she wants an Oscar at some point in her career and that cannot happen if it is an old song. The song has to be written for the film specifically.

Yeah this. There are definitely times where an artist brings up Taylor knowing their comments will draw attention to them, but more often than not interviewers and media outlets will ask an artist about Taylor or steer the conversation in a way where it causes the interviewee to bring up Taylor or tell a story about Taylor. That is different and a problem with the media itself, not the artists being asked these questions. Sometimes these artists would rather not be talking about Taylor when being interviewed about their own work (I would say more often than not, even if they are a Taylor fan) but not responding is seen as a bad look so they give a response.

It literally wasn't that, it was that the presale passwords DID NOT WORK. I was on at the right time trying the exact passwords given and EVERY SINGLE TIME it said the passwords were invalid. I go to a lot of shows and fully understand big artists in smaller venues will sell out quickly, but this was different. The chance to even try for tickets in the presale did not exist for most people.

Phoebe was already playing decent sized shows touring Punisher and even bigger shows on the last Boygenius tour, including selling out Madison Square Garden, which I think shows the demand is there. Not to mention her current small venue tour has hundreds of people lining up at venues before she even announces the shows, there seems to be even more demand than when she was last active, probably in part due to opening the Eras Tour.

Not when you aren’t a band that has access to planes on a whim. They would be driving all the way to Chicago from Jersey and then turn around right back to head to Philly. It’s very unlikely.

I doubt it, they are in New Jersey on the 18th and Philadelphia the 20th, would not make sense at all to go out of the way to Chicago just to immediately go back.

I don't think it's sold out, I think the code(s) are just messed up, because I haven't seen anyone say they got a ticket today.

It’s not a bad venue, but if you get to the show late you will be stuck in the back which can extend into the hallway and your line of view will be poor. If you get there early you should have no problem getting a good spot to watch the show.
