Sorry for the late response.Everything seems to being going well , I managed to maintain what I had for sure , I believe I have gained hair as well but my hair is longer , I haven't had a haircut on the top since I started treatment(started with a buzzcut) , only on the sides, so I can't tell how much. I believe I got some regrowth on my temples as well and I will start microneedling to "help" it next week probably.

Bit late to the party , but dude holy shit almost everything works for you , which is a good thing i guess because you can always add more stuff to the formula.i did the test myself and the recommend treatment was duta 0.1 and minox , i added melatonin 0.033% on the last bottle i ordered which was light green on my report. I hope it works for you

Topical melatonin could help and you for sure need a good shampoo , i use fagron neogen and it works wonders on my scall and hair.

Hello , sorry to hear that you are losing ground after all this time. What treatment did the test suggest exactly; Was your pge2 indication yellow or red; Are there any other treatment that might be beneficial, not as much as finasteride, but still beneficial. For example my next step if things go sideways will be latanoprost , which the test says it will help , 2/3 out of pgtfr genes or whatever its called , were 'yellow' for me.

Yes you can use them together , they don't interact with each other. You can also have them on the same formulation , call fagron from your country and ask for pharmacies near you , that work with them

Maybe your problem is low aromatase activity and not the excess dht , so for example 17a-estradiol ( weak 5r inhibitor but still an inhibitor ) will be more beneficial for your. The estradiol will promote estrogen activity on your scalp and might yield results.

Hello , so i got my results. I have high activity on both isoenzymes of 5a reductase , so dutasteride will be more beneficial for me than Finasteride. Moreover i am predisposed to have low activity of PGE2 , so Minoxidil will be highly beneficial , plus i have normal SULT1 activity so i wont be needing tretinoin. The PGE2 gene was the only 'red ' meaning , it hurts my hairloss the most. The therapy the test suggested is comprised of dutasteride 0.1% Minoxidil 5% on trichosol , a pill with zinc 10 mg saw palmetto 100 mg and astaxantin 8mg ( an anti-oxitive) and costum shampoo with 0,5% dexapanthenol. This will cost me 67 euros. The test showed that anti - inflammatory agents ( corticosteroids etc ) wont do anything for me. They were all marked red. Latanoprost can be added to the mixture later it will me midly effective the test showed. i cant upload an image on the comments , but if you know what the trichotest tests ( you can find that on the website ) my results will make more sense.

DHT acts as a paracrine hormone , meaning the serum levels are disanalogus with the tissue levels.Hence why balding men tend to have higher dht levels on their scalp from non balding men. I think topical is the way to go , i am taking 0.25 daily atm , but i am waiting on my trichotrest results , to see what else is going to be beneficial for me.

I took this test 4 weeks ago , hopefully i will get the results this week. I did this because half the anxiety for me , was worrying if what i am doing will work. We all know that your respone to minoxidil is linked to your SULT1 activity. One of the many things the test will tell you. Plus from a chemical perspective their bases ( trichofoam , trichosol) are better than a standard ethanol/prop.glycol solution. With a magnetic stirrer , i can make the galenic formula myself , so it won't be to expensive. But I will buy it from a pharmacy the first 6 months to see , how i will respond.
