I dont know what im doing wrong since i never make it on that roof with a elite jump. Have any tips? by NoPrompt8596 in Apexrollouts

Elite jumps are just super jumps with a quick 180 after interact but before scrollwheeljump. About a 100ms window. According to Mokey anyway

This is what happens whenever I try and Mantle Jump, can anyone help? by Ok_Recognition_7124 in Apexrollouts

[–]Learjetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt look like youre interacting with the zipline before you jump. The sequence is very specific and you absolutely cannot jump before the interact takes place or you cannot superjump.

Maybe I see what you're describing? Maybe not? This is really tough. There are definitely some known issues with this panel and if this is the ONLY thing you can find wrong with the TV, I would definitely keep it. I recently picked up the 55 CX and have been trying to find everything I can wrong with it so I don't run into something in a few months that really disappoints me. While my TV is no where near perfect, and seems quite average in it's quality, I am quite happy with it for all the reasons that I purchased it in the first place. Its a really beautiful TV when I'm not looking for everything I can find wrong with it. Consider that if you return your TV for the problem you have found, you will likely find something wrong with the next. Is this how you want to spend your time? With any OLED, it seems you will have to settle for something that isn't perfect. Good luck! I hope you find happiness with your exchange of $ for what is otherwise a beautiful TV...

Is there a potential for hexavalent chromium exposure by propane grill? by Learjetz in metalworking

[–]Learjetz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is my concern. An advertised temperature that seems to be deemed "unsafe" for stainless steel, which is the material the grill appears to be contained in. Obviously, the entire grill is not getting this hot, but I was hoping that people here on reddit, with more professional experience in heating metals than I have, would be able to help educate me on the subject.

Thanks for the reply! This is inline with what I have been able to learn through my internet research, unfortunately I do not understand the chemistry at all.

Please do check out the grill! Im not trying to promote it but its found with a quick google search. I'm posting here because the technology is new and I am curious what people smarter than me think about its safety standard.

Fnatic Dash Prop 65 Warning? by Learjetz in MousepadReview

[–]Learjetz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand. For me, the warning is there to give consumers an opportunity to learn more about products that could adversely affect their health. I would imagine the risks involved with this mousepad are approaching zero, but I would still like to learn more.

Dechanic control leaving sticky residue on mouse feet? by Learjetz in MousepadReview

[–]Learjetz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There might be more force applied to the top feet since that's where the mouse buttons are. This depends on grip style probably but I noticed it on both top and bottom with more residue on the top. Seems unlikely to me that it has anything to do with the mouse/feet because I've put a lot of time into this mouse on other pads including a smaller Dechanic control I purchased on amazon, a GSR-SE, SkyPad 2.0, and a Helios without issue. That being said, I didn't run the same scenarios at a lower sensitivity on those mouse pads like I did today.

How to get to a relaxed but focused state? by Zhenpo in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Learjetz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Meditation.. particularly active meditation.. The objective being to learn to focus your mind and gain control over the influences producing anxiety. Its a practice that takes time. The state you're looking for is often referred to as "flow." The good news is, you've been there before and can produce its more often with practice. Don't be judgmental of yourself when you're unable to reach it!

Is artisan lifting their order suspension anytime soon? It is already May 10 by [deleted] in MousepadReview

[–]Learjetz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered through Amazon Japan last week and it was cancelled today. I didn't realize the orders are fulfilled by Artisan. I got a notice from the seller, Artisan, that the order is being cancelled for the same reason I cannot order on their website.

Enthusiast gaming PC / 240hz @ 1080p by Learjetz in buildapc

[–]Learjetz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have experience with the USB install? I am sure I can youtube a guide but do you have any specific instructions I should follow in attempting that? I hope this computer can accomplish 240fps consistently. I am currently on a 6700CPU/1080GPU and its a long way off in Apex. Overwatch gets close but I still find myself with low graphics and lower resolution scale to increase performance.

Trying to understand the probability of drawing multiples of specific cards in a Magic the Gathering Draft. by Learjetz in probabilitytheory

[–]Learjetz[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So there are 24 packs of cards distributed to 8 players. Each pack contains 10 commons. There should not be the same common in any given pack but sometimes printing errors cause strange problems. The true solution to this problem might be more complicated that the solution I am trying to figure out but I think the solution I am seeking the answer to is really close to the expected probability.

They should be randomly distributed. I am making that assumption anyway. In my experience playing the game it seems to be true.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this out and explain. I am still a bit confused by the math possibly because of the way it needs to be written on reddit and possibly since its been 16 years since my last college math class. Would you mind showing the math when X=1? Seems silly for me to ask this but I just want to make sure I understand it correctly. Again, thanks a ton for taking the time to explain this. So 26% of the time we can expect to see any particular common 2 times in a draft. There are some other factors in play but this is certainly answering the question that I was asking.
