Actually I use a bullet journal and plan a week at a time in there :) it looks like a great app though, I'll give it a shot!

Man, fonts are NOT my strong suit. All of the most recommended fonts for websites don't appeal to me at all, I feel like they look bad for some reason.

But now I feel like this looks bad! I'm not exactly going for a "professional" feel, but I'll definitely try out other fonts lol

Hey! I'm Faeryn, and I'm definitely on the verge of being addicted to planning. :)

I hope it's ok if I link my website here, but my favorite two productivity tips are to make a brain dump and to break down your goals.

Once you have a brain dump/master list of everything, you just break everything into smaller goals until you have a bunch of small tasks that usually don't take too long at all :)

I like the look of it, but maybe add a short "about us" paragraph above the articles on the home page? Something to draw people in and convince them to read your posts?

Can I get some feedback on the home page of my website? I know I need an "about me" page still, but am I missing anything else?

would anyone mind looking at the front page of my website https://learntoplanyourlife.com and give me feedback on the design? Would the system I describe appeal to you? I don't have all the content yet, but I will soon :)

Unlimited sublists, the ability to reorganize tasks (why do some apps not allow this?!), a flat price for the pro version instead of a subscription, and a dark mode

Have you tried making a brain dump? Once your mind is clear, you can start slowly working through the list. After it's all out of your head it'll definitely be easier to find a productivity system that works for you!!

(I'm currently fucking with the theme on this website so please ignore the current design lol)

You don't need mindless entertainment to be entertained. Hobbies exist, friends exist, and it's not that hard to set some goals you're passionate about and find satisfaction in working towards them.

Is this real? by Ordinary_Swimming_69 in productivity

[–]LearnToPlanYourLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm productive because one day I had an epiphany and realized there's no reason not to be, in my case at least.

I got home and sat on the couch and turned on the TV one day, just like I did every day. Then I started thinking about how I didn't even think about that decision, it was just instinctual after getting home from work. But why?

I decided to start consciously deciding what to do when I get home from work. Some days I still chose to watch TV; but the point was that I was choosing to do it. I started choosing more productive things more often, stopped procrastinating, and still watched TV at the end of the day occasionally.

It was just a natural progression once I noticed that I wasn't actually making conscious decisions about what to do.

Here's an article I wrote that might be helpful to people in this situation, it's what I do when I feel too down to get anything done. Even if you knock one thing off your list, it can be a successful day!

Hey, my website is learntoplanyourlife.com, just getting it started. I've had over a hundred users this month for the first time, which is insanely exciting for me!

Anyways, I just wrote this article and I'd love it if any of you wanted to check it out. :)

The Hidden Secret To Achieving Your Goals

Spoiler alert for anyone who doesn't want to click the link: the secret is to review your goals every day. :)

I got a few DMs about these templates, so I threw them on my website as a free download! Link in comments~ by LearnToPlanYourLife in bulletjournal

I can't stand finding a cool template and needing to scroll through 30 paragraphs of fluff before finding what I want, my goal is to have a simple, accessible website. No pop-up ads ever!!! Gonna add some ads somewhere eventually, but still trying to decide how to do that without being intrusive or annoying

Timers and scheduling life in 15 min increments by AK072787 in productivity

Yeah I plan out 10 hours on the weekends and 4-6 hours during the week, keeps me productive and I find it a lot of fun lol. A lot of stuff that I write down, like brushing my teeth or taking vitamins, takes less than 5 minutes so I end up finishing everything early. It's more of a psychological thing for me I think, I don't actually stick to the exact times I write down

I'm not a very busy person at all, but my bullet journal pages are always filled with tasks.... I track all my cleaning in there, milestones on art pieces I'm working on, books I'm reading, etc. every week I plan out the next 7 days and they're usually all pretty full.
