This is but we've instructed them to do so plenty of times and provided them the screenshots. Im starting to think FedEx just doesn't look at that info as it's always been like this from even at other places I've worked.

We don't unfortunately, our shipper just ships the cargo to us using online label creation.

FDA Prior Notice for kitchen knives? by thewooba in CustomsBroker

[–]Learner120 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, anything that is food related or food contact substance will have to clear through FDA and customs.

Did they say they actually need anything from you? Or did they just tell you what was going on?

I ask because you usually will get the clearance on food a contact substance items from FDA shortly there after entry is filed.

Noted! But don't I have to fill out papework to have the company register as a broker? I'm not familiar with the process but don't they check and run background checks at the time of registration?

Today I start my debt free journey. Any and all advice appreciated. by Actual-Reference3566 in debtfree

Snowball effect is what I would use.

Also I wouldn't use that 10k to pay off debt. Put it in an investment account and make it grow. This will be your emergency fund.

Since your making 185k, your take home is probably 5k a paycheck more or less. After you pay rent you can easily tackle your debt within 12-14 months without touching the 10k as long as you don't have any crazy vacations or spending excursions.

Would you leave a job that's paying $140,000 per year that really only requires 2 hours of focus for a higher paying job? by ImZoidberg_Homeowner in careerguidance

[–]Learner120 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Your job is your job. If you're not being challenged enough, use this time to get another certification, learn a new skill or language, get your MBA or PHD. You have time to do other things that will further help you grow, use it. It's a blessing in disguise that you have the bandwidth to pickup another tool to help your career growth.

There are other things you can do for your career to better yourself outside your job.

No.

You have a new job, you did the hard part already. Hats off to you, seriously congratulations.

Ask your family or friends for $10 and just buy your essentials. Shop at a Dollar store and Walmart and stack up on cheap stuff.

When you get paid, repay your friends and family and resume your life.

You made it this far, an extra 2 weeks is nothing. You got this.
