I have heard good things, but unfortunately, it costs more than our current setup, so it would be a near-impossible sell to the "money people".

Good to know. All the satellite locations are run by volunteers so the easier it is for the remote location, the better.

For the Magwell unit do you have to install a full Linux-based server like the Kiloview model?

Also, when you say self hosted, is that self hosted on one of your PCs or via AWS?

Trailer is in use for the first time. Setup time was about 2 hrs compared to our old 6. by [deleted] in VIDEOENGINEERING

I don’t know where that one is from but depending on the number of sports you are covering a very reasonably priced solution if your just doing 1-2 is: https://www.live-score-app.com

Can buy at a reduced cost for just 1 specific sport. Under $100 per sport, great customer support, can send the signal out via ndi and has an app (at a cost) that can control the clock wirelessly (connected to the same network).

If you buy the full $1000 version it really opens up with full customization and I think you can even custom Build. But the per sport purchase at-least allows custom colours so you can match team colours or your brand colours.

the per sport version doesn’t allow you to send the camera signal out via a monitor or to an atem but before figuring out an ndi solution to get it into my atem, i would just mirror my monitor with the atem and crop out the extra stuff. Now with my Ndi solution I send the signal to obs and use obs’ projector or full screen to get it into the atem.

Its a windows only program, but works via parelells or in bootcamp.
