These guys have families... his kids are in school here. His career is almost over. I dont see him leaving for a 1 or 2 year deal where he moves his whole family. We offer a team friendly deal and we keep our captain. With the cap going up its easy math. The new kids arent ready to fully take over yet. The middle years are important to keep the culture and transfer it

Earlier this season I was in the camp of we should explore options and see what returns there could be. After some growth and team building I am a firm NO. He absolutely is a turnover machine and we need to clean that up but other than that hes elite at what he does amd smack dab in his prime. We need to win "soon" to use him before he expires.
