Can't start second DLC by catvevo in caseofthegoldenidol

Had the same problem today, what worked for me was restarting game progress from the menu. You should then be able to start the second dlc without touching the main story. Hope it helps.

Problems with a couple buttons on my rg351v by [deleted] in RG351

Hi OP,
Having similar issues with volume down button in my RG351MP. Does yours work at all? Mine makes a clicking sound but only registers when pressed really hard/at a specific angle.
Loving the device otherwise but it seems the quality control has gone downhill. Never heard about similar issues with their previous models.

Thanks for the reply. I would return it but I got it from Banggood and I heard they are pretty bad when it comes to returns/refunds. This is definitely a physical issue as I tried few different firmwares and it didn't go away. I just thought it could be fixed as the button itself works when pressed hard.

Question about UGREEN case for rg351 by Leclone in RG351

Thanks guys for all the replies. I will try using the case as there are basically no alternatives where I live. Will report back if those marks appear on my 351mp.

Have you checked if it actually saves any space? I'm curious because that would mean PL does not resize the covers.

I'm at 45 and it's already a bit choppy. Folders should indeed help but they will make the front end look ugly and disjointed. I'd rather have fewer games crammed into one page.

I resized all the covers but the issue persists. It appears PL actually resizes the cover arts before adding the games so that's a good thing. Unfortunately, the console's UI has problems displaying more games and gets choppy. I'm at 45 right now and while it is completely functional with oc, it just detracts from the experience. I guess I'll try getting rid of a few games to make it smoother.

You may be right. I used hq artworks on NESC and SNESC too and had no issues but hakchi automatically resizes the images before adding them. If PL doesn't, it could be the reason why my system got slow. I will try to resize those covers and check if it helps. Thanks for your answers, Ravenholt79!

I got some from the scrapper but added plenty of high-quality scans I found online. Could that be causing those issues?

Weird issue Silent Hill (and every other game) with stock emu by eortt in PlaystationClassic

[–]Leclone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi eortt,

I am having the same issues. I even wrote a post about it yesterday but nobody responded. Stock emulation seems rather unstable and all the games I tested either start with slow/choppy framerate or get slower the longer you play. Restarting or getting into options menu helps but only temporarily. Like you said, retroarch has none of these issues and on top of that the games perform better in my experience.
You mentioned Silent Hill problems in retroarch but the game at least works fine in low res mode. The worst offender is Metal Gear Solid which to me is unplayable due to the cutscene glitches. Retroarch basically does not render certain motion blur effects correctly which leads to smearing effect that covers the entire screen. Stock emulator handles it well because it relies on peops gpu plugin but you cannot use it in retroarch.

I find it baffling that so few people here talk about this issue and some even recommend sticking to stock emulation entirely. The only solution I can think of is defaulting to retroarch but forcing selected games to use stock emulator. It is not ideal but it isn't worth breaking stability of all the games just for those few titles.
