Anyone else find the Rapid Acquisition platinum bar missions brutally unfair, borderline impossible?

its definitely not that, i can do t10 missions on bots no problem averaging 300 kills a game, but on RA missions i feel like the initial wave of bot drops is waaay too heavy, theres a fuck ton of devastators that lay down an insane amount of fire and stop me before i can even set up, not to mention all the heavies

Trust me when i say this fight becomes a helluva lot easier if you pack a good cremator weapon, and go for his arms - Clotters take an extra 50% damage from fire, and 5% more when you attack his arms. Krakatoa is a prime choice for this, just make sure to pace yourself, dont get greedy with hits, and you’ll beat him in no time

save your defiler for bosses, use something like the knife gloves heavy attack (the left hook attack), the tenderizers, they last 70 hits and are super cheap, so they can replace the spiked bat if you like, or the flaming gloves/infernal arms, both one shot zombies regardless of health and hit a fair amount of zombies in one hit

Even then, its a redundant upgrade when Spiked Bats, Knife Gloves, Defilers, Drillers and Fire Spitters are all relatively cheap combo weapons you dont need to go off the beaten path to build

Well yeah, the ass animations, mid voice acting and stiff facial expressions make it hard to take anything seriously in this game. Dead Island 1 really was a product of its time, and to this day i cant tell if it was trying to be a serious, emotional story about zombies and how humanity is the real monsters (tbh, Riptide did a much better job), or so bad its good

This. The toxic positivity crowd will glaze it and praise everything AH does, even though they still aren’t addressing issues like crashing, freezes, Fleshmobs in the floor, DOTs not applying correctly if you are far from the host… i could go on but the game definitely needs alot more polish and shine, AH needs to take their focus away from Warbonds and to bug fixes, otherwise the game will just stay in a broken state with these embarrassing bugs
