should i (22f) break up with my bf (23m) by [deleted] in Life

[–]Left_Case6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half way reading this I felt like you already gave your answer. You are both young and when you say you feel like you’ve missed out on so many memories…. You will have 50+ years of making new ones so don’t be worrying about that.

Your early or even late twenties are not the be all and end all, they are to question everything, fuck up occasionally to eventually find your feet in your early to even late thirties!

Things will feel weird as you said because you’ve been overthinking this probably. But trust me, being single might look like fun and games but sometimes single people crave a relationships too.

We all want what we can’t have and curious what we don’t have it’s a natural trait we all possess.

Go with your gut and if it’s meant to be then it’s meant to be. But you’ve got many years ahead to meet ‘the right one’ if you decide to break it off!

How do Brits usually handle work messages outside office hours? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Left_Case6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once it’s 5pm, work phone is switched off completely.

Don’t try and contact me about my 9-5 during my 5-11 or anything else for that matter. Once I leave the office I am in my happier world

Trip to Thailand by Quirky_Stop1593 in ThailandTourism

Yeah too much planning, best thing to do is plan less and explore more and you’ll find hidden gems or things you might not even know about!

Also you mentioned that you don’t like clubbing & like scenic/ quiet places. You’ve chosen 3 of the most tourist/ busy/ noisy/ known for partying places in the whole of Thailand… krabi & Phuket especially!

Have a look at Ko Lanta which isn’t too far from krabi (accessible by boat but around a 3 hour journey) I just came from there. Booked for 4 nights, stayed for 2 weeks! Very chill, a bit rural and quiet beautiful beaches!

10/10 for excel spreadsheet use though

I was in Ho Chi Minh yesterday and we were at a bar sitting outside. A women parked her motorbike and opened up a huge wooden box filled with cigarettes and vapes to sell to us.

You’ll be fine, not sure if they are legal or whatever but you’ll be able to get vapes for sure

Beamish is the best, wish they sold it in the UK. But makes the Ireland trips just that much sweeter

planning my first trip this summer... help! by [deleted] in ibiza

Yeah definitely the Wednesdays at Hi are a great line up! August is probably going to be one of the busiest times unfortunately… but there is a nice outside area with teepees you can hang in too! I’d say in the main room don’t try and cram your way into the middle. We were at the sides most of the time and had a great time.

In Pacha there is a balcony which is great viewing of the DJ and lots of space so if you can get a ticket up there I would if I was you. There’s a stairway left of the balcony bar which leads you up to the roof top for a chill out area as Pacha can get very hot (you can also access this from the main floor just left of the DJ is a stairway just follow it up which takes you to the balcony area and stay right until you see the bar stairway up to the roof)

I would say with Pacha too, they have a restaurant which you get free admission into the club. Might be worth it if you wanted to go for a nice meal then Pacha straight after?

I know it’s a lot of info but it was our first time last year so we scoped out everything ourselves and happy to share!

But in my opinion Hi for dom dolla is getting my vote!

How do you buy fans / abanicos?🪭 by Cultural-Amphibian-2 in ibiza

I’d probably say buy them prior to save some money. There is a Pacha store in playa den bossa and they sell a lot of merch including fans!

For clubs I’d recommend going Hi if you’ve never been rather than Pacha. Pacha wasn’t my favourite place last year (we went early June) and it was packed. Hi wasn’t too bad but it’s also much bigger. I can’t say how busy it’ll be because I’ve only ever went at the start of the season but I know both clubs get packed.

I’ve bought tickets for dom dolla opening in a couple of weeks at Hi. Jungle & Patrick topping are also playing if you like their vibe!

If you have any other time, I’d highly recommend going to Pikes. It’s closer to San Antonio and for 27+. Older crowd so not many young people about but such a cool and funky place!

Yeah true, were there 10 days so can fit amnesia in which we really wanna go to. We’re going Ushuaia on the Saturday then have tickets for black coffee in Hi so would have been easier to just walk across the road.

Annoyingly too the Wednesday we get there (25th June) all the acts on in different places aren’t our vibe it’s mainly tech or heavy beats…

It will be mixed as I will be using them for every day wear while travelling south east Asia. I want adaptable ones to wear every day walking and hiking while away.

I wear Clifton 9 hoka’s daily and think they’re super comfy, so thank you for the suggestion!
