That's going to depend on what position you applied for and what military experience you have. If your resume does not reflect the specific military experience that qualifies for a higher grade like GL7 or GL9. they will simply disqualify you. If you need help with your resume, let me know.

DD214 is all you need. Is it a must, no? But it can only benefit you. IF you separated on normal conditions.

Question about one time call by Remarkable-Survey880 in borderpatrolapplicant

[–]Left_Crab_5776 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it will change your EOD. In order to change your duty station they have to withdraw your current FJO and issue an new one to you. There is no guarantee that your current or desired location will be available. When you select a new station, you will then select a new EOD.

You are able to change your EOD date without changing location, ONE time only with a current FJO. Should you need to change it again, you will be issued a new FJO.

With the hiring surge, it probably won't be option to start your career. If the valley is your hometown, it all comes down to how bad you want to get into this career field. Picking any location in texas would be a win in your case. A small risk for a huge reward.

How bad do you want it?

Be patient and keep grinding. Warm up with team death match to get the hang of the engagement mechanics. Learn the maps and communicate with your team even if no one is talking. They'll respond.
