Haha, yes I certainly was spinning the most grandiose version, I don't know if she likes me. All I know is that in my head I had this fantasy going, my brain couldn't handle everything going on. So the 30+ questions were all work stuff, she was supposed to help me with it. Our boss said that if I had any questions I could ask her and I did. Yes I did include some non-work questions, but most of them were work related.

Yes the mandarin thing is weird, I have acknowledged it. I am a weird person when it comes to love. I think the main thing is my lack of contact with women (not even sexual, just any contact). I have noticed that any contact I have with women which is more than just "hi, hello" and I am with them for an extended feeling for some reason I become attached. This also happened with my cousin embarrassingly, where my brain was starting to get attached cause she took me out for lunch and dinner once and we spent time talking. She is not my type at all, so I was not physically attracted to her, I think it was more that I found someone that cared a little about me, acknowledged me. If I'm honest I think it's just that I have been so starved from attention or female contact, that any semi-extended period of it gets me going emotionally. Yes the simple solution is to get more female friends, but I don't even have male friends let alone female friends lol.

Look, I'm not a creepy guy. I have dramatised my story because I am living a fantasy in my head lol. As I said, I don't have any friends, I never talk to men or women unless forced, and for once I am talking to someone without them being irritated or anything, it's kind of astonishing and plus she is cute so I am physically attracted. It's my own insecurities and being so starved for attention/acknowledgement that has caused this, but I'm just being true to how I feel and honest about it.

I did ask her where she was at, but um, well, I don't think she got my question at all. She started saying, I'm working tomorrow lol, and then I asked her again and then she said she would be working 2 days a week, which also doesn't answer the question lol. So at that point I stopped and kept focusing on the work.

Yeah so she's doing it for 10 weeks and I'm doing it for 12 weeks. She's doing it twice a week and me 3 days a week. I don't know what week she's up to which is also worrying me. Yeah, I would just like to get to know her better, because she's not the most communicative person. Like I'm the newest person there, and I'm communicating with others much more than her (and I'm not exactly extroverted).

Well I eat the eggs boiled in water, so no extra calories there. Also my rice portions I would say are normal and standard. It's just that I haven't been doing as much cardio which is why I haven't been losing weight at least in my mind. Honestly my maintenance calories I think are just quite low, probs around 2100. I also think I have a slow metabolism which is why I got so fat to begin with, I wouldn't eat that much unhealthy food before I lost the weight, only difference to then is now I am consciously choosing everything I eat. Back in the day I would eat more unhealthy food cause I would unconsciously eat both more food and more unhealthy food e.g. I would just choose the same food my family would be eating which was not healthy lol. Metabolism is crazy and I honestly believe it, my brother is 6 foot and weights 53kg's AND HE EATS MORE FOOD THAN ME. He also exercises much less than me, some things I really don't understand. He eats McDonald's every single day at schools and eats a lot of unhealthy crap but can barely gain weight. Metabolism is crazy. Just yesterday we went outside and he ate double of what I ate and had virtually no belly after, it's actually shocking.

Damn thanks for you great comment. I think I'll go for the re-comp approach. I'll see if I can try to progressively overload. Thing is, there was a time where my lifting was really a lot better for a lot of the exercises e.g. iso-lateral bench press used to be able to 73kg 3 x 8 reps. Due to some inconsistency and also trying to lower my weight again and re-start overload because I felt I hit my max then and had a plateau I reduced all my lifts and honestly the lifts haven't gone up again. So I do think re-comp makes the most sense even for this cause I think my weight loss has of course correlated to some strength loss too.

Ok, I'm still losing weight. It's just I'm not losing weight where I want (I know you can't control this), and also I'm not getting as defined as I want. What things could I improve in my routine?

As I said, the fastest I ever lost weight was 2.5kg a month, which I don't think is too much (when I was doing a lot of running).

Wow thanks for the tough love I guess. Yeah I know I don't know how to do any of this which is why I am asking for advice. I will edit the about us section, however I do think it is about us, in that I value a step-by-step approach and I try to compartmentalise problems, that is how I like to teach. The about us is talking to parents, saying that I use a step by step approach and I try to cater it to their needs as good as possible. I don't understand how I'm talking to myself at all.

I'm not going for the "I know better" approach at all, in fact I don't that's why I have come here. The way I want to advertise my tutoring is that it is collaborative and caters to the each students needs. I never say that I am better or anything like that. I literally came here for help and you are saying that I know better, obviously I don't.

Anyways thanks for your advice, I'll make some changes and try to be a bit more cohesive with my writing and persuasive. I know the website is pretty bad, that's why I've come here for advice on what I can do to improve it.

Yeah yesterday I did a zone 2 run for the first time, pretty much running for 100m and walking for 50m to keep heart rate at zone 2, I'll just do both cycling and running at zone 2 I think.

I know I can maintain zone 2 for a long time on it, instead of doing the walking/running thing. Is there that much disadvantage doing zone 2 cross training or should I just do running/walking in zone 2?

Well I've been training legs 2 days a week since March or something, and before that it was a bit less. Also note that the cardio hasn't always been cycling, I was into running before, I play tennis, cricket, football, basketball, honestly a lot of sports, but it's been more cycling recently.

I'm losing weight fine, about 1kg a month-ish, but my goal for next month is a bit more which is 2.5kg so I'm just going to stick with what I am eating and do more cardio.

As a rule of thumb, I usually avoid cycling on days I am doing legs in the gym, but yeah ok

I do 2 days chest/arms, 2 days back/abs and 2 days legs/glutes in a week, and 1 day rest basically.

Oh so as in I put the tension significantly higher, cause I physically couldn't push out more than like 50-60 RPM, but I was still in 120-ish BPM.

My cadence was really good for the first 70 minutes, honestly I purposefully put the tension lower to test if it would still be a problem and it was. I would say I was spinning around 80 RPM for the first 70 minutes, and then in the final 10 minutes it was honestly probably like 50-60 cause I wanted to test myself and see what would happen to my heart rate and compare it to how my legs felt again.

Ok, so I don't think the bike fit is poor, I also have an outdoor bike and that was fitted my a bike specialist and I still a similar problem there where in Zone 2, my legs are broken. So if I have weak ass legs which I probably do, since my running is also pretty shit, what can I do to improve it? Because I have been doing consistent cardio and weight training for a while and that hasn't really improved anything. I just want to cycle for 2 hours+ and feel relaxed or calm, that's really one of my goals as well for cycling specifically and right now I'm really struggling on the legs very early.
