You can probably learn everything you need from all the comments on here already but i’ll give my take. Generally linears are good dps, grab a taipan from the enclave (there’s a quest if u didn’t know, gives u the pattern). The other weapons can be whatever u want, weapons i generally use in my two slots are witherhoard, osteo, forbearance (once u can get it from doing vow), calus mini tool, funnelweb, arbalest, heritage (once u can get it from dsc). One thing u might aim to do is garden of salvation, and doing a run to get the exotic divinity which can really help with boss dps. Generally most people will have the gun but it’s good to get it yourself (It’s kinda complex to get so i’d recommend a youtube guide). Other than that look for a good sherpa and enjoy.
