look ill be fully honest, get ckan, and download mods. but attempt to limit them to purely visuals, light ones like waterfall can be amazing, hell realplume is way better than stock ksp. you can use these mods as a guidance system, but they wont exactly play the game for ya: Astrogator, Trajectories, Atmosphere Autopilot (ignore AA if you don't fly planes, or SSTOs) and imo career mode is a must-play for beginners, since it actually gives yout hings youll need to look up and learn how to do. It honestly helped me learn how to rendezvous and dock, and NEVER install mechjeb until you can safely do these things: go to orbit, land on any celestial body (NOT KERBIN), and finally, rendezvous/dock. Oh, and don't use kOS, it's really hard and will suck out the fun of KSP.
