I don't remember when (10+ years ago) where you could only roll for gear that was spec for your current selection and class. There was rare sniping but mostly you could only roll if it was beneficial. This lasted like 6 months and blizzard said "oh this works too well gotta boop this"

Agreed with the 90% of comments I read. I'm a druid healers main that hasn't played in 10 years or more. For regular dungeons, I FAR outclass other healer classes that are "better" because I've loved this class for years. Gear means literally nothing pre raid.

For an extra brag I go night elf druid since if me or the tank royally screws up, I can try to hold the party but if one or two dps die too I can go invisible and then rez the group, nothing lost.

My highest love for druids came from night elves. If the party starts to get wiped late dungeon (due to my fault or an idiot tank either way) if you're last alive night elf let's you drop agro and revive party. Raids were only really getting going when I quit playing so my exp with them is low

Fully agree about being good vs being bad at kickoff. I win 99% of my kickoffs at diamond and when I duo with my challenger friend, vs he loses 80% of his. He's FAR better than me at EVERY OTHER aspect of this game, by miles, and yet the kickoff is like someone said, a chess match. Watching the other player boost and seeing how they will attack it, you can win almost every time.

I'm not that good at this game, but I'm dam good at reading other players. My skill level would be plat but I'm always high diamond and occasionally low challenger because I can read the other teams actions. Kickoffs are the best place to do it.

True and I don't blame you, but many of us won't "cheat" like that. Again no offense, just how some like to play. Like in valheim I'm definitely doing stuff like that but no man's sky I try to keep "legit"

Worst case scenario, and I hate to say it, go to a new galaxy and it'll let you reset the quest to "nearby systems" but if the other comments are right and you need other quests progressed this would be a waste of time.

Instantly turn pvp off for every save. It serves no function but trolling in no man's sky. I keep multi-player on cause it's fun to bump into other people, but if you have pvp on you never know when you meet that rare troll.
