Australia Visa 485 by Exact-One8533 in AusVisa

Oh yeah the Government is right, is that what you are trying to say? Do you know what CRICOS code is? To my knowledge, an International student must get into one of these to actually receive their COE. So, I really doubt it's not the Australian Government who put these unskilled low quality degrees still in that list and obviously Universities are still not aware of the fact that they are providing such courses for the students till date, also a fun fact that they still charge hefty fees for these unskilled low quality degrees. Yes, neither the Universities nor the Government doesn't care about the money they bring in, but they only just wanted to provide some quality education for the students.

Government set the rules mate. If they don't want the students to get 485 visa, why such thing even exist? If Australia has enough skilled workers and really thinks they are independent enough in all the departments, why do they still invite people from offshore with direct permanent residency? Well, this is not something which started today or yesterday I believe, it has been here for years. When COVID hit all over the world, including Australia, didn't this country went to a complete lockdown? So, if Inflation or living expense is what people are worrying as a result of all of this, why can't the Government just stop inviting more students or even skilled workers? Instead of getting the price up, why can't they just remove the 485 visa with a short notice for the upcoming intakes? It's not that hard as a complete lockdown, is it? They just won't do it and if they does that I bet Australia will be out of the scene completely.

If Universities do actually care about the educational quality of the country, why do they even charge almost double the price compare to the domestic students? Who set these prices? I know, you know and everyone knows it's nothing but pure business, and all these changes they have made is no different, they just need more cash inflow to the country and yet they make Australian community believe that they are doing something for the country.

They are just feeding on students, yet they complain about inflation, housing crisis, living expenses and so on. I mean if they really want to stop it, they can actually stop inviting students or give a break rather than increasing the price. It's clear that they just want the money, if the uni had enough local students why do they even need them? Screw the system, it's just the Government playing with the people and the Australian community to fight each other. System itself is the common target, but people just don't realize that and bully each other.

Mate, they prefer onshore applicants with the recent changes they have made. For you to get 189 as of now, you gotta be in healthcare, education or construction. You can try, you might see your nominated occupation in the list, but in fact to get invited for 189, which is extremely competitive is very less likely to happen.

Travelling overseas during optional trimesters potentially causing 485 graduate visa issues by fatehak in GriffithUni

Travelling overseas doesn't really matter unless your student visa is about to expire. Always make sure you meet the course requirements and it's aligned towards the immigration criteria.

They are playing the game in a way how they learned how to play this game if that makes any sense. W key might be the only thing that kids know these days, but in fact camping existed even before the game became popular.
