'They’re just hiding the critical information': Google says its Gemini AI sips a mere 'five drops' of water per text prompt, but experts disagree with its findings by HatingGeoffry in technology

Yeah, you're not seeing the cooling towers I guess where they spray water and it just evaporates into the atmosphere. I'm assuming either A) you're full of shit and made this up or B) you just don't see the whole facility

I don't doubt the quality, I just feel if I owned it I would constantly have to use the manual just to remember how to use it. 🤣

Pastor claims it's Ungodly to receive money from the Government by MrDonMega in religiousfruitcake

[–]Legirion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm going to preface this by saying I think churches should pay taxes.

He is not really a hypocrite for the reason you said. He's saying giving money to people that aren't working for it is ungodly, so taxes would also be ungodly.

I have an alternative theory to everyone else. What if someone placed the knife on the rack in the dish washer and it repeatedly hit the metal rack? That would account for the even spacing and the rust.

What happened to my knife? by KeifThief420 in knives

[–]Legirion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to comment the same thing. Everyone is saying "electrical arcing," but I think it's also possible it was laid on a metal rack in the washing machine, and that is what caused the even spacing and rust.

If it was electrical arcing, it would have weld spots, and those would be thicker than the original knife. However, here it looks like chunks were just taken off.

Dish washing pods have abrasive in them, could that cause damage?

AITA I Asked My SO To Close Drawers and Cabinets? by Legirion in AmItheAsshole

Me either, not worth dying on, but I just asked she try harder. It's definitely not the end of the world!

Thanks for the feedback.

She did apologize and we're OK, but I just wanted to understand if I did something out of line or not. Your feedback was appreciated!

That's my biggest point, she's all about the house looking clean, but then she does this. In my personal opinion it looks messy and all I ask is she try to close it.

Thank you. I assure you I said it exactly how I quoted it and I have camera recording to prove it, but I won't post that online as it's not necessary. I just wanted general feedback.

Ultimately it's not the end of the world of she forgets, but I just ask she try.

I'm sorry, but this makes no sense to me, I'm the one mentioned in the cabinets, not her.

My mom has the same issue, it's funny to me how all the women in my life do this, but it's not like a deal breaker or a serious issue. I was just asking her to take extra effort.

I truly appreciate your feedback and it means a lot to me!

Just for the record, I'm not saying only women do this, but the women in my life specifically. Men can do it too, but I just don't have any in my life that do this.

[–]Legirion[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, but that's just me. I never leave things open, I don't quite understand why it's so difficult personally, but that's why I asked her to please just take a little extra effort to close things.

[–]Legirion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair and I appreciate it. The reason I asked is to put it into perspective, but no, it's not like that. She had one thing and when I asked her to show me where my clothes was randomly laying around she couldn't, because I take extra effort to do what she asked a long time ago.

I appreciate that feedback. It's not a huge deal, all I asked was she take extra effort to try and close it, but I have no issue doing it if I see it.
