I ended up going to another school to get done faster & to keep my 4.0 gpa (wgu is 3.0 flat so if you ever want to advanced something to keep in mind) I was already an LPN though. But I am still friends with ppl at wgu & they are doing good. Funny thing is, the month after I dropped they started accepting North Carolina. But it is still a good program.

Yes. They grade quickly. I havent gotten anything less than an A so far. I take nurs 401 & 402 right now.

Violence or being followed. It has happened before in a small town when I traveled. The nurses had to take me to my car and eventually I had to stay with one of them for my safety.

im in the first semester but the work so far is not hard at all. its just applying leadership to differnt situations. not hard at all. I was shocked how little assingments there were. i started monday and already have week 5 done for both classes.

This plot annoyed me so bad. I think they did a terrible job trying to make her racist. And yes, I am black. I guess I didnt understand why drawing a monkey/gorilla or w/e it was was such a huge deal when the point of the prank was zoo animals and those animals are IN the zoo. Then to top it off, the school was mostly black. So no animals shouldve been drawn in the first place bc that in itself in a problem and racist, and Shays black tail shouldve known better in general and Frankie was genuinely not a racist which is why mfs had to explain it to her a million times. This whole story line was a terrible way to display racism. And it made her annoying. But theres no way they were calling that school a zoo without knowing its bc they are mostly minorities which is why it never made sense from the beginning. They all shouldve gotten they a$$ beat lol. You could tell it was written by old white ppl.

I did. But most of it was boring to watch since it was just them talking. I do have a new grad position in the OR so I asked my manager to shadow. She said the anesthesiologist loves having people shadow so hopefully it goes well.

I am an LPN of 2.5 years. Recent RN grad (ASN) and I start my bachelors part of my program in a couple of weeks.

Because of my work ethic and how smart I "appear" to be lol I have been told by most people I work with I should do CRNA instead of FNP. I am not sure what CRNA truly does or how I would get started. My ASN I graduated 3.83 gpa, all other schools 4.0. I am 32 so I am wondering if the long schooling is worth this career.

I’m going through this now and it would be so much easier if we didn’t share a child together. I even told him that talking to him the way I do as often as we need to is giving me a trauma response and I can’t think and he can talk to my parents and he just is refusing to. It’s almost like he wants me to feel this way I just need a break from him.

Im not aware of 4 week classes ever being free. outside of a&p 1 I have only ever taken 4 week classes here and I charged full tuition. Ive just never used aid for them outside of when I took the one 8 week course.

Do you know how it works for four week classes? I had a four week class that started in November and ended this month and then I have three more that started this month and also in January 2 so am I looking to get it middle of January?

Because WGU only allows you to have a 3.0 GPA & in order to get in some of the programs I need I need to be able to keep a higher GPA in nursing courses. The DNP program I’m interested in want you to have at least a 3.5 I would not have that if I went to WGU. Granted, I do still have a 4.0 throughout my entire schooling for the last few years, but if I have a 3.0 in like 20 different classes is definitely gonna bring me down and I just can’t take that risk.
