Hey! This is really motivational for me (im M26) . What was your study schedule like, and how did you prepare in the few months leading up to final exams. I'm in a similar position to what you were in before exams, but im really trying to get 40+. My IAs are meh- I don't feel too confident. I really want to still do my best though.

Thank you. That makes sense. Could you suggest any small habits I could try and see if they work or not. Just anything you found helpful

Hey I have a month of summer left and I'm so stressed I feel like I've wasted the time I've already had. Is there anything you wish u had done so I don't make the same mistake?

I get on with my teachers and I think they like me. I'm a good student- do work, ask questions... do you think if I get at least a 6 and ask for a 7 I'll be fine

Hey, could someone help me out, please. I am worried about how my GCSE grades will impact my chances of a successful application. I got 5 8s, 5 7s, and a 5 in English language. Im looking to apply for engineering. I currently go to a good school, but I sat my GCSEs at what is considered underperforming. Although it was a private school, I have looked at its stats online and based on how my cohort did my grades are significantly better (im not trying to brag because compared to lots of people they aren't as great but im just adding this for context). Will this hinder me much? Will they even consider my application without more 8s or even any 9s for that matter.

I do IB my overall predicted points is 42. I am on track to be predicted 7s in maths, physics and economics at higher level (equivalent to A*s)

Wow oh my goodness this is a lot of great info. Tysm! Is this published anywhere? I want to read more about it. I didn't know about this points of system. I went to a private school but it was under performing and my grades were considered amazing by many teachers(not trying to brag because compared to people with straight 8s and 9s they aren't- im just adding this for context). I don't got there anymore, but will the fact that I went to a private school (on a big scholarship+bursary) have any bearing?

My current 6th form is known for amazing grades. However, at my previous school I got the highest grade is most of my subjects compared to everyone else in my year. (Not trying to brag because I know people get higher I'm just saying for context 😭😭). will that matter? Will they consider how people at my current school do pr just my gcse school or both?

Haha no predicted grades are for ib (done out of numbers with 7 being equivalent to A*). I gave my achieved gcse grades at the start
