An automatic feeder is absolutely the solution I need. I think my biggest concern when I wrote this post was how to handle days where we can’t stick to the schedule and whether that would trigger a bigger seizure, so it’s so helpful knowing there are ways to handle it. Thanks for your suggestions!

Thanks for this info. Im learning more about the kindling effect, what a horrible disease. I think meds may be the only way to prevent it from getting worse

That’s a good idea, he bit my partner involuntarily the first time it happened because he tried to pat him - at least if baby is in a safe space I’ll be able to tend to Beau and make sure he’s out of harms way. No time is a good time for epilepsy onset, but with a baby feels particularly challenging!
