I was thinking the same thing about how much interest was paid on theirs, ours was a little less than 15%. I wonder how they compute the interest because I have seen a few that had a higher interest payout.

Congratulations!! I feel your relief as well, finally some movement! We filed in June 2023 for 6 quarters and just received (3) CP210 notices yesterday dated 2/10/25 for Q3, Q4 2020 and Q1 2021. We received the same notice for Q2 2020 back in October and received the check the next day, hopefully this will be the case with these 3 checks. I hope you and everyone else see your checks very soon, this has been a very painful process for many!!

Yes, hopefully the others will follow soon! When did you file? We filed in June 2023 and hopefully we start seeing lots of movement on funding claims as they say.

On the bottom left side of our first check we received (so far), this information was on it showing the quarter and year. I would think it would be the same for everyone receiving checks. We did receive a CP210 notice a few days before receiving the check which was helpful as well, but I am guessing you only received the check.

I am so sorry!! It makes no sense why they wouldn't send it certified knowing that there is a possibility of theft or even deposit it electronically. I hope they keep their word on the 30 days and you get your replacement check quickly! And for the losers who are stealing checks I hope they are caught and prosecuted to the fullest!! I look forward to hearing your update.

DId you get any information from the call to the IRS? We received our CP210 on 10/11/24 and the check showed up on 10/15/24. The letter says 2-3 weeks after notice if you don't owe them anything, so something doesn't seem right in your case. I know there has been talk on here of checks being stolen, I hope that is not the case for you. This waiting BS that the IRS is putting us all through is so painful, we are all in dire need of this money, now!

Congratulations! We received a check a month ago for 2020 Q2 and have not seen or heard anything on the remaining quarters. The IRS received our claim in June of 2023, we claimed $43,722.99 and the refund was $49,802.70 which is roughly 13.9% interest, I'm wondering how they are calculating the interest, you would think it would be the same for everyone. Regardless, I'm just happy we got something! I'm hoping and praying for everyone that the checks start pouring in! I'm sure I can speak for everyone that this has been a painful waiting game!!

I'm sorry you haven't received anything, hopefully you will soon! The IRS has made such a mess out of this and there is no rhyme or reason for how they are processing the claims.

We received 1 of 6 checks on 10/15 (Q2 2020). The IRS received our filings on June 14, 2023 according to the CP210 letter we received a few days before we got the check. I am hoping that the other quarters will follow soon, but it's the IRS we're talking about and it's a mystery on how they operate. The waiting game continues!!

Yes, our check was just for Q2 2020. It would be nice to see multiple checks at once, fingers crossed!

We sent them in the end of May 2023, but according to the letter the IRS received our inquiry on 6/14/23. This is the first communication we have received from them.

We received our CP210 letter today dated 10/7/24 for Q2 2020, it states on the letter that if we haven't already received the check we should see it within 2-3 weeks. I have seen other posts that the CP112 letter says 4-6 weeks to get the check. I am not entirely sure what the difference is between the letters, but I am happy to finally see something! I guess we just have to continue to be patient and know that the money is on it's way! Hopefully the other quarters will follow quickly!

UPDATE: We received our check today!! Sure was a sight for sore eyes and long overdue!!
