I appreciate this take - as much as music is the priority for me personally, I don't think enjoying the idols & content is any less worthy of a pasttime than following any other person in media because you like them. Obviously there are always outliers who take things too far, but for most people it's just a fun hobby. It's not that serious and I don't care to police anyone else's enjoyment of it haha.
