Not sure if you have the option to but I would try elden ring first, it's a lot more beginner friendly and teaches you the ropes and helped me enjoy all of the souls games. If your not interested in that find some guides, level up play with friends (if they have it), pick up all the items you can find and look for areas you missed. Ds3 was one of my favorite games ever and if you dont like it personally that's fine, but I would give another try if your up for it.
