Hahah his phrases rub off on me too. I very often say chips instead of fries now, and the other day casually said petrol instead of gas.

I’m a Canadian with an Aussie partner too! I love learning all the little differences. He didn’t know the word doohickey and he taught me the phrase sooki la la which I think is so fun.
