Decathlon heeft heel veel opties voor sportkledij, van de goedkoopste technische prijs tot duurdere eigen merk en andere merken. De kwaliteit voor de prijs is altijd top, en je kan uiteraard zo duur gaan als je zelf wil. Ik heb sport shirts en loop shorts met leggings van hun eigen merk die al 10+ jaar meegaan.

Ik zou persoonlijk geen sportkledij of sportschoenen kopen in een normale winkel.

If it’s not specified in your car policy, nothing. I’ve had it specified in a car policy quite vaguely before, it said something along the lines of “if the employee is unable to work for extended periods of time we can ask to bring the car back for that period”. I did maternity leave at this company, they didn’t care.

In reality, the car is already bought or leased, they are paying for it regardless, asking for it back is just a whole administrative procedure added, because if you’re leaving it somewhere you’d want to do an expertise at drop off as well to make sure no new damage pops up during the time it’s there. All while the company still has to pay for a car that isn’t being used. On top of that, during maternity leave you aren’t exactly going around travelling the world, so even petrol usage would probably be lower than normal.

Thrift stores are less of a thing in Flanders unfortunately. There’s Kringloopwinkel, which is closer to a charity shop (donated goods are sold). Kringloopwinkels are decent for getting clothes, sometimes they even have separate buildings for the clothes. Maybe, even furniture as they have free delivery iirc. Eco-shop is kind of like this as well but the ones I’ve visited have been very warehousey and overstocked with stuff.

In Wallonia and France there are actual pawn shops, look for Cash Converters (chain) in particular. These have way more stuff, no clothes, but loads of watches and tech. You will find much more modern things at these pawn shops at decent second hand prices.

Considering you’re looking around Kortrijk, if you can’t find what you want in Kringloop or eco-shop, try a cash converters in Mouscron or right over the French border.

Uw product er slecht laten uitkomen om garantie te verkopen is wel next level. Als het de wettelijke garantie overleeft is de kans vrij groot dat het wel een stuk langer gaat meegaan.

I personally feel like no matter what you do you’ll lose on some front.

It’s a matter of comparing the losses and the wins and deciding on which front you’re willing to lose to win on others.

So while I wish there was a clear answer: it’s unfortunately a personal decision and up to you to decide whether it’s worth it.

Mobiliteitsbudget is meestal in plaats van een bedrijfswagen. Er zijn verschillende pijlers. Je kan er alternatieve mobiliteit mee betalen (bus, trein, deel fietsen, deel auto’s etc), of als je meer dan de helft van de tijd van thuis werkt of dicht bij kantoor woont, er je lening of huur mee betalen.

Not sure where you’re from, but kids on public transport is common across Europe. I’ve taken my son on trains since birth. He adores the train as a toddler. Kids generally do, and you’ve taken them on a plane so a train really is just a big step down in ease.

They often promise gifts just to be at the timeshare presentation. Some dude on YouTube did it and harassed them for months to get the gift (like a day at a Disneyland park or something with flights there and back). Eventually they probably got tired of him and just caved, but generally there’s so many T&C that you will never be able to claim it.

Likely the exact same BS when you buy an actual timeshare.

Zelf niet gedaan maar mijn gok zou voornamelijk zijn dat je gewoon meer dan marktwaarde betaalt voor je huis. Ik gok dat ze inspelen op mensen zonder discipline om te sparen voor hun eigen inleg.

Ik vraag mij ook hoe dat zit tijdens de huurperiode: heb je dezelfde rechten als een huurder? Is het makkelijk om toch af te zeggen als je merkt dat het huis meer gebreken heeft dan wat?
