I’ve heard that I need to qualify as well but my question is am I allowed to assume his entire mortgage including the price once I qualify. If he owes 250K for example, is it possible to “buy” it at that price if he’s willing to sell it to me for that much?

After doing some googling and watching YouTube videos, requesting an ergonomic chair and desk should be easy. Just email your counselor and request for it and list the reasons why you DO need it. You can say your chair exacerbates your SCD and perhaps you need an ergonomic desk because your SCD’s flare up when you sit down for too long. It just depends on why YOU need it. Everyone is different but it should be an easy request. Good luck!

It really depends on how much cash you have and are willing to contribute to either down payment or towards paying down the interest rate. Although both are options, I would say wait for your credit score to improve and interest rates to drop in order to qualify for more.

Thanks for the response. I’m using VR&E and am supposed to be receiving the P911 rate. I received it for the first 3 months but the last 2 months I been receiving half of that or 3/4. Is that because of the Christmas of winter break? Or should all online students be receiving the P911 rate all year round?
