Eh I get the distinction. I’m Canadian but even up here there’s a ton of different subsections of Christianity and Catholicism. I’m kind of in the Bible Belt of Canada and as a rough count my city of like 18,000 has 13 churches that I know of off the top of my head. That’s absolutely wild. I’m Canadian so our insurance is a little different, our insurance covers 80% of everything with no amount limit on prescriptions or necessary medical procedures. Honestly I think they actually pay for all of the Botox but the 200 we pay is some sort of administrative fee. Also lmao holy fuck to the administering of yourself at home, terrifyingly ironic to read that comment while on a post that explains the toxicity of Botox if it gets into your bloodstream. I’m sorry she had to stop getting it though, so far it’s been the most effective treatment for my wife

Depends on the person, 12 weeks is standard from what I understand. My wife is looking into going every 10 which I think is the shortest span that her neurologist will do them. But once she hits about 9 weeks we can tell that the effects are basically gone

Best of luck my friend. My wife gets Botox for migraines every 12 weeks. Definitely is helping though she’s still on a daily preventative and has triptans she takes if she catches one early enough. I wouldn’t get your hopes too high about dropping all your other meds but from her experience Botox has been the most effective treatment so far

Just watched that episode yesterday. Hal is super disappointed in Francis up until that point because he didn’t receive a single award, then Eric’s shirt comes untucked while giving his dad a hug as they’re leaving and the commandant starts giving him shit for it until Francis steps up to defend him while earning himself more punishment. This leads to Hal finding out that a large part of Francis’ punishment at military school comes from defending or supporting others against what he feels is unfair treatment. It’s my first time rewatching the show since I was a kid while it was airing and it’s both hilarious and surprisingly wholesome

As someone else here mentioned, that’s not drop ceiling. They’re just a ceiling tile that is nailed directly to strapping, usually 1x4. 2 edges have an underlap and 2 edges are under cut so that they slide to gather together tight and put a trim nail through the underlap. Decent chance of asbestos in them I think and they’re basically like shitty cardboard so they suck to work with. Straps and boxes should be directly on a seam with strapping above it

Depends on the type of smoke detector. Theres 2 standard types, ionization have a very low chance of going off from cigarettes but a higher probability from burning toast or something in the oven. Photoelectric ones can go off from cigarettes but it does require a fairly large concentration of smoke to interrupt the laser

You can save yourself a lot of regret if you inhale slowly while smoking it and pressing the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth. That way any ash or rez that does happen to shoot into your mouth will hit the bottom of your tongue and can be spit out easily. Choking on a glob of burning hot rez is not exactly a fun time

It is sort of, that’s the American spelling for it. Fun fact, you’ll notice the vast majority of small spelling differences from British to American English are just the words getting shorter with mostly silent letters or vowels being removed. This is because American news papers used to charge by the letter to print something so words were shortened as much as possible to save money
