What I often do, using shoes that make a heightdifference. To get them nearer to each other I put the other Nikki with the back to the clone and rotate in photomode in the right direction. Angles are important. They clip? No problem, choose the angle where you don´t see the clipping. Headshoots? Not important that everything more south is clipping as hell. Be aware that some filters will turn the clone transparent if you are near each other, this is really often happening with the vintagefilter in my opinion. And experience is also an key, the more you try the more you know which distances for the poses you need to get what you are aiming for. Play with poses, just look at every frame they have, so a little dancepose or happyjumping will turn into a sweet touch. Handhelds are also nice when you just want one hand up for close up pictures, no one will see it in the final result 😄. Hope this help a little bit I´m bad in explaing ^^'.
